Let's chill out on the loss last night
Yeah, it reaffirmed some of the negatives one could take from the Colts game (the line, Cutler staring down receivers), but keep in mind that it's just the 2nd game of the year, and no one got seriously hurt (yeah forte got injured, but he won't be out long). The Bears also have more time than their next opponent to get rested up and prepared for their game. Obviously there are bigger problems on offense than defense, per usual, but as badly as they played, if it weren't for a trick play and some really bad calls by the refs early in the game, we still would've had a chance to win that thing. Bush showed that if we're without Forte for a while, we still have someone who can step in and do a damn good job. Our d-line also showed up, with Peppers, Melton and McClellan each got at least one sack. So, let's just try to be patient, see what they did to change things up against the Rams, and get ready for another serious challenge in Dallas. 1-1 isn't bad, hell, we've hit 1-3 and still played competitively. This is not the end of times.
