Kahlil Bell re-signs with Chicago Bears
Running back Kahlil Bell tweeted Saturday that he's back with the Chicago Bears. The Bears looked to sign another back after starter Matt Forte went down with a high ankle sprain Thursday against the Green Bay Packers. "I'm taking my talents back to Chicago," Bell wrote. "So happy to be back. Never wanted to leave."
The Bears later confirmd the signing in a news release. The team waived safety Jeremy Jones to make room on the 53-man roster. Steve Slaton reportedly worked out with the Bears on Saturday, but the Bears were leaning towards Bell, according to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora. Chicago Tribune reporter Vaughn McClure tweeted that Bell will sign a a one-year deal for the league minimum. "Let's make this clear: I never wanted to leave Chicago in the first place," Bell said, according to McClure. Bell was cut by the Bears in August after he declined to take a pay cut from $1.26 million to $700,000. He didn't catch on with another team. The Bears needed someone if Forte misses an extended period. And Bell is more familiar with the surroundings in Chicago than Slaton, for example. Truth is, however, they now need Michael Bush to stay healthy. Is there still room on the PS for Jeremy Jones?

That didnt take long to resign him ... he worked out with N.E. last I heard.

just to have it right... he never wanted to leave but did not accept the paycut. No after not getting a contract by another team for more than what we offered him, he NEVER wanted to leave and now accepts the paycut.
Plain and simple lost the gamble but still was lucky enough to see a starter going down

now all they need is a line to block//still think a world wide search for a left tackle contest might prove helpful//the Romans had gladiator schools what about a semi pro team in Chicago to develop offensive-defensive line and QB talent

All you really need is SOMEONE who can stand in the way of the D for 3, 3.5 seconds really. QB's well, thats a different story. With the amount of teams in todays league, 2nd stingers are first now from years past. 3rd's are now 2nd's, ect....
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?
