Good points. All I'm saying is that regardless of the situation, and who is most at fault for poor performance, a true leader deals with this privately and not in front of a National audience.
Eli Manning is a good example of a guy who isn't a physically gifted QB (at least I've never thought so), but he is one heck of a solid leader. The team respects him, even though he can have some horrendous games at times. Against Tampa this week he looked horrid in the first half. But the team rallied around him and they WON that game in the second half.
Jay Cutler would have yelled at his teammates and behaved like an idiot - and of course the team would have lost the game.
That is the difference between a true leader - and an immature player. It has nothing to do with "who is at fault" and "who can we humiliate on National TV, or finger pointing or pouting.
It's about WINNING with LEADERSHIP.
Jay needs to mature in this area.

Do you know IF JC has tried to do it ,one on one?, in the locker room? Who's to say that hasn't been tried already. Has JC talked to the coaches about it too?
If I was JC , I stand in the middle of the lockerroom and say, " I'd like to say I'm sorry to the starting LT................................................ ....... Do we have one?"

Where's Dr. Phil ? I can't condone some of the things Jay has done, but it's not fair either to condemn him ( whatever source it comes from ). That's way too drastic .
Have a team meeting and really lay down the law about how things are to be handled . MAKING a guy apologize can leave the kind of resentment that will cause an inevitable split .
But no matter who you are , no matter how talented you are , no one is bigger than the team.
It's not un-fixable , as long as EVERY guy owns up . Don't own up, then the bottom line is " you're bullshit ".
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Heard JC say he didn't do well. Have never heard Webb say he's done BAD, just " I need to watch the tape." REALLY you THAT DUMB you can't remember the last hour of the last 3? My new name for Webb WILL BE " GOLDFISH", for that's his attention span.

I think the F/O and Lovie have probably already handled this issue. I also think you'll see a lot more run setting up pass from now on; btw I'm not going to 100% pin that pass first stuff on Tice, and more on Bates/Cutler remember Tice is taking their advice in the passing game. He's still the playcaller so he gets a lot and the majority of hit, but not 100% of it.
Tice does get 100% of the OL blame though. He moves that OL around like they all do the same thing, and it's not fair to those guys, LT and RT are completely different, then you take someone from RT to LT then move them to G in so many years and you expect them to perform at a high level(talking about just about all the line not just Webb/Williams)? And he's mismanagd the talent, obviously Spencer and Webb are not good enough to be starters(first mistake) then you put BOTH on Cutlers blind side?!?!?!
Seems he's at least benching Spencer. I'm not holding my breath but hopefully Scott or Williams or someone else can replace Webb before too long.
