Sounds like the Rams are a, mostly, younger version then us. Good enough O, that is getting better, and a rock solid D.
Should be a good game I'm sorry I don't see this team as the Colts, or GB either. I see them being some where in between. both teams could end up in the high teens to 20's.

Let's start with the first step, a first series without a sack! That is just maddening

How about a first series w/a completion and a first down. That would be something special.

No kidding, lol. A first possession w/o a sack or a 3 & out would sure be nice. How about running the ball some and maybe then hitting a quick slant or WR screen? Or a dump off to a checkdown RB? Be nice to get a run game and a couple of short completes going to give the OL some confidence. It's not rocket science.

Exactly.
Considering our situation with the oline, why on earth would you call plays like last Thursday, especially right out of the chute? All I heard from Tice in the pre-season was how he was going to adjust the play calling so that this oline would have a chance to succeed.
I watched the game last night (I had it recorded) and was dumbfounded by the play calling.

Well, you are ahead of Tice who was dumb[s]founded[/s] by the playcalling

The Rams arent gonna be the walk in the park all you guys think. This is a completely new team from last year and it has showed the first 2 games. They would be 2-0 right now if it wernt for the crappy refs screwing them out of a victory in detroit. The rams stregnths match up well with the bears weakness. They have 2 beast at DE in Chris Long and Robert Quinn and they have a very good secondary. Offense is much like the bears offense, Our oline is in shambles after 2 weeks losing our starting LT and Center but they managed to keep bradford upright last week against a very good redskins front 7. I think this is gonna be a very defensive game if cutler doesnt implode with all the pressure the rams are gonna bring I would give the bears the edge but I dont think that will be the case, if you thought the packers got to cutler wait till you see this high pressure hard hitting ball hawking dirty(thats right i said it C. Finnaginn has got the D playing nasty dirty after the whistle football and I love it!) defense. This is gonna be a close game but i think the rams pull this one out because there gonna win the turnover battle. Rams 24 bears 20

RJ, I agree that the Rams are no cakewalk and are a team on the rise. They did outplay Detroit in week 1 and lost on a last second play. It should be a good game (obviously I disagree with your predicted outcome) and we shall see. If the Bears' playcalling, OL, and QB don't step up from last week's debacle yeah they will lose. I do think they will bounce back and win but no cakewalk for sure. I'm glad we are playing you guys in SF and early in the season because I do think the Rams are moving in the right direction, Bradford especially, and they will probably upset a few favorites later in the year.
May the best team win. May that team be the Bears.

First of all your team improved the day they hired Jeff Fischer but that won't be enough to come into Chicago this time and get a win.
Every year the Bears get a "bad game reminder" that they need to adjust the offense because of the poor oline.
Bears recent history lesson
2010- Giants (10 sacks). Bears went on to the NFC Championship game.
2011- Saints- (week two 6 sacks) Bears went to 7-3 before Cutler was lost.
2012 - Green Bay(week two 7 sacks). Bears go on to win the Super Bowl.
Unfortunately for your Team the Bears have had 10 days to stew and fix thier issues. Expect Peppers, Melton and Shea to all take turns sitting on Bradford Sunday. Expect Bush to have 160 all pupose yards. Expect Cutler to pass short to mid range until he gets a kill shot to Mashall.
In short, expect a loss for your Rams.
