Outside of their d-line, which has a few really good players, we should crush them. Our D is playing on fire, and if Bush gets to the lbs, he's gettin some yards. Hopefully Finnergan doesn't cause Marshall to snap, because that's the type of player he is, and he caused a personal foul last week. However, if he does, i hope he gets the Andre Johnson treatment, lol

Week 3: Rams-Bears matchup
By The Sports Xchange | The SportsXchange – 15 hours ago
St. Louis at Chicago
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at Soldier Field, Chicago - TV: FOX; DirecTV: 704 *TV announcers: Dick Stockton, John Lynch, Jennifer Hale *Keys to the game: Without RB Matt Forte (ankle), Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice will be more cognizant of protecting QB Jay Cutler with shorter drops. Bush surprised the Bears with his soft hands as a receiver, but Cutler used Forte as a primary target. St. Louis can overwhelm some of the better offensive lines in football and with improvement in the secondary, Cutler's overconfidence could have devastating consequences as it did with the Packers. The Rams' wide receiver corps might not sell many jerseys, but they're precise route-runners with the bravado to go across the middle of the field. QB Sam Bradford pushes the ball to his running backs regularly. Steven Jackson and rookies Daryl Richardson are targets on wheel and flat patters that will challenge MLB Brian Urlacher. He has looked creaky in two games after multiple procedures on his knee since January. Keeping him upright might be tricky if Rodger Saffold (knee) misses the game, pitting Rams swing tackle Wayne Hunter against Bears DE Julius Peppers. *Matchup to watch - Bears WR Brandon Marshall vs. Rams CB Cortland Finnegan: Marshall stirred excitement and sparked a potent offense in Week 1, then was invisible at Green Bay. Finnegan won't back down from a more physically imposing opponent, which Marshall and Cutler can use to their advantage if the blocking holds up. *Player spotlight - Bears RB Michael Bush: "One injury away" has been an NFL reality for Bush, formerly Darren McFadden's caddy with the Raiders. With Forte on the shelf for about a month, he'll have ample opportunity to take the job and run with it. *Fast facts: Cutler has been sacked 43 times in his past 16 home games. ... Rams WR Danny Amendola's 12 first-half catches last week tied Reggie Wayne for most ever by a wide receiver. WHO WILL WIN AND WHY The Bears have seen the best and worst of Jay Cutler and their offense in two games. To avoid extremes, offensive coordinator Mike Tice will offer a stripped-down version of the scheme and a double dose of RB Michael Bush to limit Cutler's temptation to throw into tight coverage in third-and-forever situations. *Our pick: Bears 24-16

Surely we can beat the Rams. If we start to lose to these bottom-feeders due to our oline, then we're really in trouble this season.

Rams Vs. Bears: Chicago Returns Home To Face St. Louis

Sep 17, 2012 - Fresh off their 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Bears will return to Soldier Field on Sunday to face the St. Louis Rams.
The Rams (1-1) defeated the Washington Redskins 31-28 last week. Sam Bradford is coming off one of the best games of his career. He threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns against the Redskins. The Bears secondary will have to pay attention to Danny Amendola. Amendola gashed the Redskins for 160 yards and a touchdown while catching 15 passes.
If the Bears are going to get back in the win column, they will likely need a better performance from Jay Cutler. Against the Packers, Cutler completed just 11-of-27 passes for 126 yards while also throwing four interceptions. A healthy Matt Forte would likely go a long way in helping Cutler rebound, but it's still unknown if Forte will be able to play against the Rams. He left the game against Green Bay with an injured ankle, although Lovie Smith said Forte did not suffer a high-ankle sprain.
Sunday's game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX.

I'm not sure how good their pass rush and DL is. That is going to determine the game. If Cutler is constantly being sacked and pressured and no holes opened for Bush, then it will be a long day.
I think we will win this game, however. The playoff contention teams that have a really good pass rush and secondary are going to be the ones to give us problems until we fix our line.

They still have Steven Jackson right? I don't see a reason he coudln't do what Benson did to us though; although their passing game is not near as scarry enough for us not to try and stop him first. But that passing game is slowly coming together.
We'll have to see how well the line is able to block that DL. It should be interesting. Not having forte will make it easier to make them pin their ears back.

I still say we'll be able to beat the bottom-feeders this season. I just can't imagine any scenario where the lowly Rams beat us.

If AZ can beat NE, anyone can beat anyone.
