That is total Bull Shit. So what your saying is that if your working next to someone that just loves to joke around at work, and its you not him that is ending up getting hurt because he doesn't give a shit and the bosses are stand there seeing this going on but aren't saying a thing that seem to be getting through to him, that you should just let him keep doing what he is doing until you finally get hurt and hurt bad. And not give me the crap that he should have talked with him because I am sure Cutler has told him before.

Some people just don't get it when you try to tell them something some times you have to step it up so they understand your not joke with them. Webb is not only a joke to our O line, and the Chciago Bears but to the entire NFL. Cutler showed that is a leader. Leaders don't always do what everyone see as right but leaders do what is best for the team. Cutler was wrong in doing what he did not for do it but for wasting his time on someone as dumb and worthless as Webb.

I mentioned it before. Grossman started to play "shellshocked" after he was treated like a pinball for a while. Cutler never did, but I am starting to see the same with Cutler. Hopefully, either I am either wrong or it is reversable.

I'm not saying (at all) that Cutler = Grossman. But in that GB game, he sure did a "Bad Rex" impersonation.

I'm not dissing Cutler. Just saying the guy looked like Rex. Rattled. And who wouldn't? He physically gets the crap kicked out of him almost every game - and has since he's come to Chicago. Even when we win (like during that streak last year), he still takes a pounding. He just goes out and gets beat up by 300 pound men.

During that win streak last season, we didn't win because of that oline. We won in spite of the oline.

No - I didn't get that you were dissing Cutler from what you said. And I wasn't either. As for me, I was just making an observation that I am seeing the beginnings of the process I saw with Grossman in terms of a different style of play after being hit so many times. You don't ever settle back there. The throws become hurried even when they don't need to. You don;t really survey the field as much (lock onto a target), because you don;t think there will be time.

JJ, that is total BS. again JC isn't the only person getting hit and hit often, plenty of qb's do; but they don't often throw 1td for every 4 pics when they do.

Webb sucks, i'm not defending his garbage play. I'm not saying cutler didn't have the right to yell at him. But I won't forgive his garbage play b/c of the pressure; or losing his composure by rushing passes and not identifying the open guy.

I'm just hoping he's not regressing with the beatings. We've seen this movie before. Heck, if you whopped any of us upside the head with a 2x4 for a few years, eventually WE would get a bit jumpy too.

Some guys can handle it, some cannot. Rodgers and Rothlesburger have found ways to deal w/it. JC has not adapted.

what drives me nuts is why we are not rolling JC out to remove that issue. Hey left side cannot hold up, lets just do 3 step drops and release all the time. That over simplification of the situation is laughable. You have to keep the D from t'ing off at one area; you can either do that w/great line play, and if not w/that then you have to do it w/roll outs, runs and screens to force the DL to slow down and think about why they are getting to the QB so quickly.

Obviously, we have to acclimate him to the beatings. I say practices should include Peppers going at him with no blockers. (or Webb, which is the same thing)

But it's OK to act like a DOLT at LT? When the OL was really bad after the JC injury, it was well it's not JC in there so they look worse. OL looks bad with JC in there and they lokk EVEN worse when JC isn't in there. So JC makes the OL look better , so the OL should put up with the BITCH that makes then look better.

There is a difference between someone that CANNOT do what he is asked, and someone that can and does it poorly. Webb was never capable of playing LT, and the team put him in a no win situation. Cutler CAN be a great qb and plays way below his level far to often. And that is not just b/c of the team around him or his coaches or the line. HE makes bad decisions and HE locks into 1 target far to often, and HE puts to much faith in that arm of his far to often and it can result in a game like that.

Woodson said it himself, they don't worry about his weapons they know Jay will throw the ball to their D.
