OK, but does Webb get a pass, AGAIN, this time for being told he sucks?

They were both wrong. If Cutler were to bump every player who screwed up bigtime Thursday, he'd have been bumping a lot of players. Webb is not a good LT. But he wasn't the only guy who hurt us. Cutler hurt us too, multiple times. I'm watching the game again tonight. Watched it last night too.
1. We got outcoached.
2. The oline, other than Louis, hurt us (Carimi's penalty was critical), Garza sure has had better nights, and Spencer was the worst (not Webb)
3. Cutler got hammered. He also made some bonehead plays on his own. He has no room to criticize anyone. He looked like "Bad Jay" that night.
4. The play calling was abysmal by Tice.
5. B. Marshall dropped a sure TD that should have been caught.
6. Briggs dropped a sure/easy interception that ended up being points for GB.
And on, and on, and on.
It's not all on Cutler or Webb or any one person. The team stunk.
Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis
I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Agree, just wish Webb would bump SOMEONE, either team, anyone. That would be a babystep in the right direction for " Goldfish"

The one thing I will say about Cutler (although I am a Cutler fan), is that I really believe a big reason the team stunk is because their leader was ripshit. Things were not going his way and he was letting loose on people and then others started having problems. I think the Marshall drop may have been caused by being on edge because Cutler was on edge. Not so much the Briggs drop, but I think the offense was keying off Cutler. I think the main reason for the meltdown was Cutler and the main reason for Cutlers issues was the OL and the play calling (game plan)

5 linemen
1 TE
1 RB
1 QB = 8 players ( 7 blockers )
Leaves 3 WR's who better do a better job getting open ( and holding onto the ball : Devin , Brandon )
( or maybe they should just be smart & work on their running game )
( and if he still sux then maybe it's time for a blanket party - then we'll see if he's still smiling )

Disagree. He would then being calling out a player in public too. Don't forget, it was Moore who said Lovie was upset, not Lovie.

5 OL that can block, 6 defenders rushing ok, add a TE, 7 rushers ok, add then the RB. D should always be up one as the O has a QB, which to me is like a FREE safety , cover. But when you need an extra guy to HELP someone then you'll ALWAYS be in the hole.

Jayzus Edith . Do I really hafta splain this to u Lucy ? ( j/k witcha brother )
The D doesn't know where the play is going ( what hole / what routes ) so it 's up to the RB or QB to see the play develop and either RB makes the right cuts / QB reads who is gonna be open and delivers the ball .
And the line has to win the mano-a-mano enough to move the ball .
And use ur mismatches ( Marshall should always be one ) and if he's doubled somebody else has to be open .
This team just needs to execute better . And just play smarter fb ( as in take what the D is 'giving you' ) till they adjust then u go to the new open area cuz 1 adjustment = something else is open.
They rush 8 ( like Dallas did couple years ago ) then kill em with the quick slants ( which is what we did ) - they started goin nuts and we beat em .
