Scott could be LT option if Webb benched

I like your thinking on the part that they are probably going to let C.Will walk at season's end. But there's something else I wonder about. Did C.Will do something to get into Lovie's doghouse of doom? It's worth taking a look at and thinking about because there have been many players over the course of Lovie's career in Chicago who have pissed him off and never lived to play another down on the field again after their "egregious" offense.

It's a question I think all of us have wondered about. He played well. The line was functional (well for the most part) and he was a big part of it. Then you go to Spencer? It SERIOUSLY makes me question Tices ability to evaluate talent (as if Webb wasn't enough).

The only reason you go w/Spencer is b/c you need Williams to push Webb...but that was a farce from the get to. Neither are good LT's, and Williams hasn't played that role for a few years.

The minute they went w/Webb as LT, Cwill should have instantly gone back to LG, which was not only his best position...but also he was the best at the positon.

Bingo, Ric. Just "rent" a reserve swing OT and play CW where he's best and the best one for the job anyway...and that's LG as you stated so well. Shit, that was the path I thought they were on (belatedly) with Scott so wtf is taking so long? I thought for sure they would dump either Spencer or Rachal (probably Rachal since Spencer is more versatile) as soon as this happened. My God Tice has screwed this up so bad so far when the "best 5" was right under his nose. This farce, combined with his Martz-seizure last game, has really got me questioning Tice as OC. I was all for it when it was announced but man I'm losing faith in him. He's been a FAIL thus far and I have to eat crow on that one at this point.

Louis looked good as RT, Spencer was much better on the right side and we may solve our left side problems.

German, hell if we're doing the ol ol shuffle anyways why not give it a shot...ANYTHING is better then the Webb who has shown to be the worst starting LT in the league.

Wonder if Scott is any good at RG? Or even RT?

Perhaps the delay w/Scott is where to put him- RT or LT. Hell, if he's just 1% better than Webb he should be LT. But leave it up to Tice logic he doesn't see the field.
