I understand your confusion Y, it was poorly stated. Have to understand though, a lot of my posts in the afternoon are done inbetween work, while at work. I don't have time to rethink or edit my statements.
I am a football fan though, and I'm not ashamed of that, hardly find that an insult, why would I watch the Bears if I wasn't a fan of what they did. I spent most of my young adulthood watching Saturday, Sunday and Monday Night football w/my dad. No we didn't just watch the Bears. When they were on we did watch them though, and they are my first and foremost favorite team. But I've followed the Texans, Dallas, the Saints, StL, at different times also b/c I liked at those times how they were put together. I've always hated GB/SF; but also envied their fans b/c those clubs showed an ability to always have a strong team while I was growing up.
We also watched whoever else was playing. It afforded me the abilty to see great teams and bad teams and how they are both ran and coached. I got to see players that sucked on one team go on and perform great elsewhere, and vice versa. Got to see players stay to long, and teams make the mistake of allowing them to stay to long to their own detrimate. I was not suprised at all when Benson, when threatened w/losing his livelyhood get his act together and peform really well in Cinci; and also wasn't suprised when Pacman continued to struggle, both talented and troubled, but one was imaturity and one was stupidity....cannot fix stupid.
Im not here to be a homer, b/c i'm not one. Watching the Cubs continue to suck for most of my life destroyed what little there was from the start. I'm here to talk real football w/intellegent fans that actually have something to say(regardless if they agree w/my point of view) instead of spewing ignorant homerish crap. If I had wanted that I could have spent the last 8 years on the mainboard. I found out about dabearz.com by a guy that posted as beardown50 while talking w/people in a live chat on epsn and I've never left b/c whether people agree or disagree, 90% of the time it's always a good conversation, and little has to do w/bashing....notice how you ignore the praise I give btw(or are those the "good points".
Guys like Loki, Soul, Benj, Nerrad(when he pops in), Matts, Butka, Sox, Jimmors, Evernight, Wolf(when he gets the hell out of TBS), BDM, and now one of the best new posters JABF etc etc(don't get buthurt if I didn't mention your name I could go on forever, we all know who the good posters are) all have great posts that make this site flat better then every other one out there. And I'll guarandamntee you that not everyone always gets along or agrees w/one another, what the F fun would that be?
But feel free to ignore my posts; it's your loss. I'm no fool, I'm not a troll, nor am I football stupid; If I was I would have been banned or ran off this board like all the other ones were(nor am I qualified to be a HC btw I'm hardly a guniess and don't claim to always be ). But I do have in some real valid points for those smart enough to put their blind fandom aside and listen. If you can't, well better you ignore me anyways b/c you won't probably like the conversation and quite frankly I won't either.
