The "Things that are going right" thread
So far, it looks like some people that are gonna bring us through, that may have been unexpected are
Tim Jennings (dude's playing the best I've seen opposite Tillman, other than when ESPN3 was still here),
McClellan (He's been getting a far better pass rush than expected)
Michael Bush (let him carry the load, and I'd bet a dollar to a dime, he wears out just about every defense we play).

I just knew this would be a short thread...

A lot of good so far on the defensive side of the ball...
Peppers continues to be a beast and that helps elevate the play of those around him. He's easily the reason why Da Bears are tied for second in the league with eight sacks after just two games. With Rams' LT Wayne Hunter seeing limited practice b/c of an ankle injury it could mean add up to a day of running from Julius & company for Bradford.
But Jennings definitely has stood out from the rest of the team. After an impressive off-season working on his hands with the jugs machine and improving his foot work, he's putting it all together in the regular reason so far. Playing with some confidence that we haven't seen out of him before.
None of my posts on this forum have been aided by the use of deer-antler spray...

Peppers and Melton...the DE in general have been good.
Briggs and the DB's are all looking solid to specatular.
Run game(when used) looks good.

I'm honestly surprised i'm not disgusted at major wright this early in the season. That's the best compliment i can give him atm...

I would like to add Melton strung more then one good game in a row. Lance Louis is progressing. Major Wright is looking good out there lets just cross our fingers he stays healthy. I think if Wooten stays healthy he might be a good up and comer.
still early but there are some bright spots

Lance Louis is a very pleasant surprise this year. He looks fine at RG, and better than I expected.

Well, if he's doing good I think Tice should move him around some to try and get an even better line. Hit that line with a little more guru dust.

I was just gonna post about Lance Louis in here. I just read that he is tied for first in the League by giving up no pressures as a guard. That's good. So when do we move him to the left side?
