just as note... on pace for after 2 games is nothing to get worried or excited about.

Soul, forgive me I haven't found the source yet, but my boss was saying he read somewhere that the reason you see so many OL's struggling is that your top linemen want to play DL, not OL. I think you're seeing the repurcussions of that right now.
Don't know for a fact, but something tells me your top OL don't have as long of a career, or get paid as well as your top DL.
But just a tidbit of info for everyone. It may well be that teams are going to struggle to ever get a solid OL from LT to RT.
As long of a career? I don't think that is true, especially if its harder to find capable linemen. But vis a vis pay? That might be true.
ZZ, you might be right. I really don't know, that is straight speculation.
I completely agree about kids preferring DL to OL. You get stats on the DL, the only stats anyone mentions about the OL is sacks allowed.
The thing that impresses me about the "D" line this year is the ability of everyone to play multiple positions. That alone really puts the pressure on a offense to figure out just where the pressure is going to come from. EVERYONE is contributing. Something we haven't seen in a long time.

Ever since I saw this video I've hoped Shea to become something big. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBo1St4vArc
I don't know if it's because he is the first pick of the Chicago Bears in a draft that I actuallyed followed, or if it's just his awesome name, but I just really wish that guy turns into something great.
When I saw his sack on Rodgers I for some reason celebrated it as it was a TD.
I have high hopes for this kid. Good start he've gotten. I really like that we can rotate the "front" to say so much as we can. Put Peppers in the middel, etc etc. It really gives the opponents something else to think off, and knowing they just can't double team Peppers.
If that somehow happened, it would be incredible. I can't imagine Clady getting away from the Broncos. Is he a free agent after this year? The Dolphins are a freaking mess, so they might let Long leave, but there will be a dozen teams knocking on his door.
LT is a huge money position, but outside of that, I imagine starting D linemen make more than guards and centers. It seems to me like O linemen play longer, however.
