I'm just glad we have solid depth at RB. Emery did a great job assuring that the team is rock-solid at RB.

Regarding the injury to Forte, since we DO have great depth, why not let the guy heal & come back at 100%. We have the luxury to do that now, because of our excellent depth. Definitely a "positive" for this season.

Yes but even without depth about 2-3 years ago Forte would have shrugged this off, you gotta admit this one. I mean i remember when he hurt his hammy and still played like all season with it and still racked up 900 yards. Im sorry but he got his pay day and is enjoying the vaca

What sort of "proof" is there to justify that? Did he also really lay it on thick with the injury Derrick Johnson gave him last year, to get this contract?

One good thing (really good thing) is that Forte's career with us should be better, since we have the depth and no longer have to rely on him to play with injuries. He's been a "high mileage" running back so far, and we don't want to wear him out prematurely. I'm excited that with this present setup with Bush, we will see BOTH Bush and Forte perform better, and have longer careers.

I just love having both these guys. It's like a double-barrel shotgun. Give defenses one barrel, then blast 'em with the other. Pretty cool

he seems to be at the moment, i hate to say it but we should have traded forte off to someone and make the picks up for Marshall and picked up another complimentary back to Bush and started Bush. I knew Forte would pull some BS like this, just saying

Forte was not trade bate. why would anyone trade for him when he's a FA or FT player and neither can be traded.

What in his history makes you think he would fake an injury? Nothing, that's nothing but hate b/c he dared hold out for the money he well deserved. Players are going to get inj and miss a game or two occassionally.

Did you feel the same about JC when he left that NFCCG 2 years ago?

Just be thankfull we got guys behind him that can handle the ball.

JJ, I have no problem w/you disagreeing w/me either. It's what the boards are for..it would be no fun if we all just high fived and agreed with eachother.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, no matter if you agree or disagree if we were in a bar I'd have no problem sharing a beer w/anyone on this board.

How's that couch you're relaxing on "tater"? Enjoy that beer and that bag of chips and oh....don't let that remote get away from ya' there "tater".

You can dislike me and my posts all you like VJ but I'm gonna call it as I see it. You're nothing more than a Monday morning QB and a couch potato and you don't know an f'ing thing about an injury like Forte has if you think he can play and cut on it at full speed and maybe not even at all just yet. Without that ability he's a sitting duck because he sure as hell is no north/south power back.

IF he was playing and he was getting nailed at the line or in in the backfield for a loss because he couldn't get out of the way of his own shadow then you'd be complaining about that too. Guys like you who know the least about the game always whine and bitch the loudest and it's always that same old story. "He got his money so now he's dogging it", waaaaa

If you'd even take the time to look he has over $4 mil of incentives in his deal and only $17 mil in guaranteed money out of the potential $32 mil he's due if he earns every cent of it so he has a lot of reasons not to dog it. About $15 mil of them if my math is correct and it usually is. What a bozo.

Well just pop another beer and grab another handful of chips and sit your ass down and write another ridiculous post like this one why don't you. I have a low tolerance for stupidity but I love to study it.
