Thread: Bush ready to fill in for injured Forte

What sort of "proof" is there to justify that? Did he also really lay it on thick with the injury Derrick Johnson gave him last year, to get this contract?

One good thing (really good thing) is that Forte's career with us should be better, since we have the depth and no longer have to rely on him to play with injuries. He's been a "high mileage" running back so far, and we don't want to wear him out prematurely. I'm excited that with this present setup with Bush, we will see BOTH Bush and Forte perform better, and have longer careers.

I just love having both these guys. It's like a double-barrel shotgun. Give defenses one barrel, then blast 'em with the other. Pretty cool

he seems to be at the moment, i hate to say it but we should have traded forte off to someone and make the picks up for Marshall and picked up another complimentary back to Bush and started Bush. I knew Forte would pull some BS like this, just saying

You can dislike me and my posts all you like VJ but I'm gonna call it as I see it. You're nothing more than a Monday morning QB and a couch potato and you don't know an f'ing thing about an injury like Forte has if you think he can play and cut on it at full speed and maybe not even at all just yet. Without that ability he's a sitting duck because he sure as hell is no north/south power back.

IF he was playing and he was getting nailed at the line or in in the backfield for a loss because he couldn't get out of the way of his own shadow then you'd be complaining about that too. If you'd even take the time to look he has over $4 mil of incentives in his deal and only $17 mil in guaranteed money out of the potential $32 mil he's due if he earns every cent of it so he has a lot of reasons not to dog it. About $15 mil of them if my math is correct and it usually is. What a bozo.
