He was an upgrade over Spencer. He's knocking some rust off. I have no problem with his play today. We will have a better oline with him in there this season. The oline will improve each week, especially these first games of the season should show improvement week-to-week.

Now is the time to stop with the oline personnel changes. Let these guys work together as a unit now. That's the best way to improve. Change at this point is a killer. Let's roll with these guys.

I think we'll be OK this year with this oline. It's not great by any means. But not as bad as I feared. We'll be OK.

Chilo was surprisingly (and truly) awful in the ground game and surprisingly adequate in pass pro. I still think Chris is by far the best LG we have on this roster. Webb should get a chip block on damn near every single pass play.

Gabe, however, has a great game. Neutralized Long all day and is looking closer and closer to his nasty and quick self from college. I still think he should have gotten a shot at LT both this and last year. Louis is making it look easy at RG and while Garza is getting zero push on the ground in his own phone booth, is holding down the fort at C.

People, CALM DOWN. This is Chilo's first game. How do we have criticisms of Tice for moving the line around too much, yet after ONE game, there's a call to A) bench a guy after his first, non 5 sack giving up first start, and B) switching a guy who is our best backup at either T spot, and got all his reps at both, to G again? Nit saying everyone feels that way, but there is no justification for holding both views on tice & the line.
