Ill disagree about Tice, i think for a new OC, he showed the important ability to adapt his playcalling based on the players he has...we did more screens as a result, since he knew there would be pressure on Jay, ans screens are a good play to keep the defense honest.
He can only work with what he has, and unfortunately he has a horrible OL, which limits what plays we can execute successfully. I pray that we address the OL this offseason, and if so..our offense will be something to fear next season, combined with our defense...should make us a very formidable team.
I'm trying//to let go//of maybe//but maybe's just so//very interesting//Oh, what a thing.

OK you can go with that if you like but I'm not seeing this "explosive" offense he's been promising. When I think of explosive I think of big plays and more than 26 points of offensive production in two games. I'm looking to average 30 points per game not 13.
That offensive line you use as his excuse is his line. He's been coaching them for two years as their line coach before he became their OC. Any deficiencies by this point in time are on him. The play calls were better this week but still not great. That decision to leave Hester in on the goal line instead of Jeffery cost us a TD. You can't have Cutler lofting those passes to 6'4" WRs with gorilla arms all week long and then plop 5'11" Hester in on Sunday. It was an easy grab for one and an overthrow with the other.
Sorry but with this offense playing this way we can't win 11 games. Not gonna happen.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Yes, it was a weird injury to his wrist. Could happen to anyone. Except something always happens to CW. Be it his wrist, or a hamstring, or his back or whatever. He managed to play all 16 games only once, back in 2009. That's not a durable player. I don't like brittle players.
I wanted him in competition for LT. Since he could not win it, the Bears need to focus on moving on from CW if he cannot play tackle. That means we need to find a real guard right now. If there are injuries, or if Rachal fails to produce, yeah, put Chris in. I'd put in Edwin first, but I'm okay with seeing CW there if Rachal is a liability. But Webb absolutely needs someone gunning for his position, or he will settle back and coast. And we need to learn what we have on the roster now while the season is early for the future, not put in CW for his last year before we let him walk in FA.
I guess I'm one of those. We need to realize that when we have a guy playing at a level of 3 on a 10 scale, he may look great to us because everybody else on that line is playing at about a 0 or 1, but he's really not that good.

What I got out of yesterdays game is what the H is wrong with Cutler. He was way out of sync.

Bears offense is worse than previous years and the defense is awesome. Maybe they miss Martz..., seriously though except for the first game they look like they havn't practiced the plays they are running. Hats off to Jennings on D though he is awesome this year.

I learned that 28 hours without sleep is not a good way to watch a Bears game...
