A season is a long journey. At 2-1 we're OK.

I promised myself going into this season that I wouldn't overreact in these initial games. But I sure hoped we could be 3-1 after our first 4 games. That would be a great start, especially since we have changed so much this off-season.

My greatest concern going into this season was the offensive line. I think we will be "OK" with this unit. It's not going to be a season killer anyway.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

One other point. I don't view the offense as at its peak. I think some fans look at the offense as "this is as good as it's going to get" when in fact it is a work in progress. There is TREMENDOUS upside for this offense - this season. And yes, the offensive line will get better as the season progresses too (I know this is blasphemy here to say anything good about the oline, but it will get better).

3-1 would be awesome, Our schedule aint too bad, we should be able to beat dallas, Jags shouldnt be a problem as long as shorts dont have a 80 yrd reception in the final minute of the game, Lions might give us a run for our money. Im hoping we steam roll the Pathers, San Fran will be a challenge our Defense is gonna be key with them, Weeks 12-14 should be wins no problem then we get back into it wit the Cheese heads, hopefully by then were standing at 10-3 that would be awesome.

I agree wit you here the winover the rams, more importantly the score of the game was vital, the 24-6 victory showed the offense that when they work together alot of good things can happen. Also Cutler was able to have a bit more time in the pocket to make some good throws and the offensive energy fired up the defense and held the Rams to only 2 FG's which was great . JABF99 good call on the blow out lol. the offense has no way to go but up, this victory just helped amplify the want to get better now that they know its possible with the personell they have. I think they will learn to mesh better and better as the season progresses. i wanna see a 11-5 record at the end of the season.(hey i can dream)

rip me a new on this but ill say it were screwed offensively. We can't pass block, our QB eyes looks as if a freight train is coming at him every play, our WR look to be having issues running routes, and catching. basically our offense is in shambles and if were having issues beating teams like St Louis we're gonna have bigger troubles later down the road. Heck even if we make the play offs were still very weak unless Cutler comes back the second half of the season and begins lighting it up. I hope this is all possum and that they are trying not to show anything till it counts. But after watching the GB game i knew something looked out of sync

Ok im not here to argue wit you cuz you make some valid points but, we didnt struggle to beat the rams 24-6 is not my definition of struggling. but everyone is entitled to their opinion and on that note I dont think were in trouble like your leading on, our O line looked much better, Tice made better play calls, and our WR dont have issues running route the have issues with the ball not being where its suppose to be on the route, if a play is broken up you dont continue to run the play u try and make something happen. and although Cutler does "sometimes " look like he's got deer in the headlights look going but he look better then last week and thats a start.

I don't think it's playing possum. This is where the offense is at right now. But you hit on an excellent point. The offense is not in sync yet. That will come. We have a lot more talent on offense than we've had in many years, but new talent (even good new talent), requires game reps to get in sync. Cutler & the receivers are not even close to being where they ultimately will be this year.

As fans, we probably should understand that it will take time for this offense to truly hit its stride this year. But once it comes - with our great defense and special teams already playing great - this is going to be a pretty tough team to beat.

I don't see much more ceiling for Green Bay this season. Detroit looks like a typical Detroit team this year (not very good). The Vikings had a great win yesterday, but they are not at our level now, and I don't see them beating us either game this year.

I think we could have a very solid year. Wait for it. It's coming.

Yeah this will come in time and I think by week 8 this offense will look a lot better

Cutler is seeming to trust more wide recovers who's name isnt Marshall and when theese guys get the timing down itll be fun to watch

I'm still expecting us to win the division I think the lions took a backwards step and the Vikings aren't there yet.

Green Bay isn't going to improve come December IMO they have hit their ceiling and have a bunch of injury history in some guys ESP on offense

    12-4 win division

I think we are going to win some games on talent alone, before they start to sync up.

Not sure I have every felt that way about our offense.

Lets be honest about the O. It has not looked good the last 2 games because:

    A) Tice totally screwed up the playcalling/adjustments in week 2 (notice how GB improved at half despite Rodgers getting his ass beat in the 1st half vs. Seattle).

    B) Our receivers have had butterfingers 2 weeks in a row. Hester in particular looks like he couldn't catch a cold in a daycare center out there.

    C) Cutler has sucked. Sorry but Rodgers had WORSE pass pro yesterday than JC did in any game this year but still hit the short stuff and kept picks to a minimum. Cutler must play better.

Establish the run, WRs need to catch the ball, and Cutler has to elevate his game considerably...that's what the O needs.
