Just for the record, I HAVE seen Tony Romo getting on his linemen. Just because a reporter writes it, does not make it fact.
Man, I don't get the whole Jay hate. Does this guy kill puppies for a hobby or something? Oh, no, I forgot, the media and players love the guy that used to do that. I guess it's just his personality then huh?
It wasn't about him yelling at Webb, it was him bumping...and then continuing let it effect his play(4ints)

I still want to know where the outrage is over Rodgers stiff-arming the cameraman. The guy has the viewfinder to his eye and could have sustained a serious injury, he was an innocent bystander. IF Cutler did that you'd never hear the end of it. Never. Rodgers? Not a peep.
If Cutler wants respect he needs to start showing his leadership skills, he also needs to make better decisions inside and outside the pocket
Basically he needs to not think of himself as Brett Favre and more so think of himself as Jay Cutler
Part of it is that Cutler throws the quick passes in the dirt. He needs to be more consistant. Sure the OL shuffle is not helping much, but at least they are trying something to fix the OL. But Cutler is still throwing into coverage, his back foot, and takes too much time making reads. Cutler should share the blame for a mediocre at best offense.
2nd worse pass rating among stating QBs after 3 weeks...what's there to respect? And don't put that on the OL...3 guys have taken more sacks than Jay, and they still managed respectable ratings...two in the mid/high 80s, one of 100....if you want respect as QB, you have to be put up the numbers...

I think players are judged by their "history" and if a player has had a negative image over time, then it sticks like glue to the player for his career. Quarterbacks get more scrutiny than any other position. It may not be "fair" that they are under the magnifying glass like this, but it's the way it is.
Some quarterbacks realize this day-1 in their NFL careers and cultivate a positive image on-and-off the field. They may be jerks privately. But publicly they are mature leaders. It also gets them a boatload of endorsements as a side benefit.
Cutler hasn't understood this, and has been branded as an immature jerk. Players and fans (a lot of them) believe this, even when it may not be true. You may not ever see Jay get a break from the fans, players on other teams, or sports journalists for the rest of his career. He could be Mother Teresa for the rest of his career, but folks will still think of him as the spoiled pouting guy.
It's too bad.
I wouldn't give a rats azz how he acts. You put up a good game and win week in week out, he can act EVEN more of poutty face, jerk, whatever people want to say. I have to ask, why put JC infront of the mic every week, he does himself and the team nothing in the PR department. Let ever player take a turn, after all it is a team sport.
