    Y, that is something again that no one is really talking about, and you are dead right about. If this guy would just put up decent numbers, not even the huge ones, and limit his stinkers he could act like a lil bitch and no one would care. Ben Roth by all accounts is not liked by his locker room, or Pittsburg in general, but they put up w/him b/c of the SB rings he has. Winning cures all ills.

    It's amazing how quickly Eli went from bust and jag to franchise qb and leader in the span of 3 years w/2 sb rings also.

    Romo is generally well liked, but the minute he has a bad game, who he dates is an issue, how he spends his offseason(golfing) is an issue, where he goes on the bye week(cabo) is an issue etc etc.

    I agree. I think Cutler is probably a VERY decent guy. It's not that he's a jerk, but that he "projects" as a whiny spoiled guy sometimes. But I really do believe it's just how he projects.

    Winning always helps people forgive quirks in their players. I think Cutler will start winning/performing more consistently and that will help Bears fans. Opponents will always hate him. And that's fine.

    If one could look into Cutlers' head,I think you would find a super competitive QB;
    so much so that he is as hard on himself,as he is on everyone around him.
    From the times I have heard him on the radio,he's come across as intelligent,funny and easy going.
    That's just my opinion.
    Keep in mind,the beating he has taken in the time he has been here.
    We have been bitching about getting a decent offensive line for years;
    do you really think he feels any differently?

    I may be wrong here.... but when was the last time he took blame for a bad game?

    Hey, Jay, if you care about "respect" from your opponents then stop bitching about the OL (that's old news and Rodgers was dealing with a WORSE problem last night) and start...

    PLAYING BETTER.

    Pretty simple.

    And GB LOSE with NO TD's. He was sacked like 8 times, sound famoiuar to anyone? I stated earlier AR played it SAFE and took NO chances, he may have lost the game but has a higher QB rating. I ( ME ) really don't care about the RATING, I'd take the guy that WANTS to win, and will take chances to win, over the the guy that is TRYING , somewhat, to win.

    EDIT

    JC isn't the be all of QB's. He DOES need to perform better, but, his heart, TO ME, is that of a winner, he really HATES to lose.He WILL take chance's to WIN, just it always doesn't work out that way.

    EDIT 2

    I read acout CARING, BLAME. His OL does SUCK, plain and simple. He's a QB that performs well to what he had in Den ver, Why TRADE for a QB that performs on way and THEN TRY TO CHAMGE HIM INTO SOMETHING ELSE. He's what you traded for, ahhh , Bears staff here, AGAIN, make a player change WHAT he is, to suit what you think someone CAN be. How's Webb working out? Hester your number 1 still, ect....

    I don't understand why Cutler gets so much negative attention his way, especially about how he conducts himself. He is who he is let him be, we all know prior to him coming here we had a weak list of qb's, He steps into a Ron turner offense=trash Martz=qb killer and now Tice which is still really yet to be seen, If our line was solid Jay would be lighting teams up guaranteed, He makes critical mistakes due to the fact that simply with our line he has to most the time! Our line should definitely be addressed-if not in the next season or sooner we might not ever get the chance to see Cutlers full potential as well as B.Marsh. Now what irritates me about what is observed how he is on the sidelines especially about the NFC champ. game is that people don't understand his type 1 diabetic issues, John Madden was interviewed about Jay and his issues w/ diabetes and he fully explained why he seems out of it at times, you can hear on YouTube, Stephen A. Smith continuously calls out Jay about that game and questions his heart-on a recent episode of First Take they discussed Madden talking about Tebow not being a real QB blah blah and Stephen A. Was all over it! "The great John Madden is saying this so it must be right" Obviously Smith needs to listen to that interview and educate himself on why Jay is the way he is and maybe he'll understand that his health issues are part of the reason!!!! Peace Y'all, Da Bears!!!!!

    But unlike GB, the Bears had no real chance to win after the Qb took chances to do so and caused 4 int's. GB adjusted the game plan to move away from Rodgers b/c they couldn't stop Sea from getting to him. When they made Sea back off they started to pass more and rogers took what the D was giving him which allowed them to move into scoring range. Cutler time and time again forced a ball to a covered wr and it created 4 TO's and put his tired D back on the field. GB lost on a hail mary possibly bad call and Chicago just lost.

    I'd take the QB that had his team in position to win over the guy that "tried to win" and failed.

    Cal, he gets heat b/c he's acts like a jerk while having bad games. Again put up big numbers and win big games and no one cares how you act. Lose and lose ugly and people will care that you look like a douche.
