I love how the announcers are so offended. But I have no doubt that if it went the other way and NE had beaten AZ and GB had beaten Sea on bad calls, they would be talking about how the refs blew it, but how AZ and Sea just had to perform better to not allow it to get into the refs hands(like every team does w/the reg refs).

I dunno, with Brett Favre's 15,000 interceptions, im sure there is a game winner in there somewhere.

I cannot feel any joy in the Packers losing this way. Not only were they jobbed on the last play, they were jobbed on the Seahawks TD drive for a 32 yard PI call that was more than obvious truly on the offense.
Sure it was low scoring, therefore able to be turned on a couple of calls, but that game was GIVEN to Seattle by the refs. There is no joy in that, and I'd much prefer the Bears win the division, or beat out the pack because they are better over the course of the season.
The NFL is too closely matched to have a game literally taken away from you by refs.

What worries me is that this isn't over. The Bears could lose a game just as easily due to these clowns.
Guess I really don't need to say or post much more about those ass clowns do I? They prove my point for me with each game that goes by. They are in way over their heads.
Exactly what was the play all about and the call? I missed the entire game.

Never mind. I just watched the replay they posted. Chalk another one up to the new NFL Replacement Refs Imaginary Rule Book otherwise known as we call them as we see them based on whatever we can come up with at the time we call it.
I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Any Packer loss helps the Bears. But that was just pathetic. One ref is unsure of what to even call until the other raises arms to signal TD and only then does concur yet he had the best angle of all along the endline.
These guys are a total and complete joke. The worst regular NFL crew is still 10x better than these guys. Imagine if this game costs the Packers a playoff spot or the difference between a conference championship and a wild card spot.

Say what you want but I really was laughing my ass off after this one. Yeah you don't necessarily want to watch any team lose that way on a botched call regardless, but my natural reaction was just to laugh and say f*ck you pack.
And I'm sorry but all the people talking about how "classy" their coach acted tonight...why did he take his team and go running to the locker room? He knew the final call was a TD which means an EP must be kicked & it looked to me like a little punk taking his ball & going home. They had to go tell them to get 11 players out on the field. And then during his Press Conf. he immediately says "don't ask me about the refs I won't talk about them"...ok, but why do you get to dictate what questions are asked of you? I know for dam sure if somebody like Cutler threw a game ending INT and went up to his Press Conf. and said "don't ask me about that play, I don't wana talk about it"...he would be destroyed by the media. Right??? Everyone would be saying that it's part of his JOB to answer the media's questions.
Just like the Pats coach running to the ref Sunday night & grabbing his arm...I'm hearing many people say there was nothing wrong because he just wanted an explanation. Excuse me?!?
Seems like certain players & coaches get away with a lot more than others just because the general media likes or dislikes them.

A few things have factored into this, and I hope Tice and Cutler are watching
1) They established the run in the 3rd qtr to slow the DL up.
2) They stopped looking for deep passes, not 1 pass over 20 yards this half. This not only made it harder for that DL to get to him, but it also allowed him to get into rythem again. Also he spread the ball around, 4 guys have at least 4 rec's, Rb, TE, and and 2 WR's.
When Cutler is getting hit early and often Tice needs to remeber what GB did to help keep the heat off Cutler. And Cutler needs to keep his cool and find the open man.
Is this seriously all you have to talk about?

need to stay classy. It sucks, but other teams dealt with bad calls for years now...

The call was fine...I have zero problem with it being ruled a simultaneous catch...to be sure, Jennings was in the better position to make the catch, but Tate had his hands on the ball at the point of contact with Jennings and stayed with it to the ground...an usual and freak play, but a fair and understandable ruling...
This idea that the regular Refs would have never made that call is complete BS...
The play, the call and the fan/media reaction reminds me whole lot of the Calvin Johnson non-catch/non-TD TD catch...what looks like something in the NFL isn't always what it is...
