Defensive holding on the kicking team and on a defensive back on a running play.
Those were my two favorites until tonight. Now it's tie goes to the runner. Er....I mean interceptor....wait, no......tie goes to the passer. Did the passer catch the ball though, what? No? Well it must mean tie goes to the receiver. Was there a tie? Ummm......I don't know but that's what we called so there must have been.
For cryin' out loud Ed.......at least act like we know what we're doing out here.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I am not one for conspiracy theories, in fact, I think most that do subscribe to conspiracies give way too much credit to the human ability to pull such things off. However, something occured to me last night that would not necessarily be considered a conspiracy, but perhaps an advantageous unintended consequence. That is this; over the last few years, the regular officials have come under a high degree of scrutiny for bad calls and such. Whether it be the Seahawks/Steelers Superbowl, the premature call with Cutler in Denver, "The Catch" in Chicago, and any number of other questionable calls. However, given the dose that we've had of these officials, I assume the heat for the regular guys when they return will be turned way down. Food for thought.

That is why the NFL wants full time guys and a training program; and that as much as the pension/money are also sticking points that I don't believe the NFL will bend on.

I'll go so far as to say, overall, this is the least predictable season (although my fantasy team is amazing), and IDC if the full timers come back. Again, short term memory loss is being had by our nation, because EVERYONE bitches about EVERY referee.

There are controversial calls every week by the regular refs // yea the packer game highlights a call that was questionable but that is the essence of being a ref//the packers love intimation and any ref is human and so i find it hard to feel sorry for a team who wins weekly by that method//the big beastly men from the northwest put their big foot on the packer cheese but da packers should have scored more points and one play would have been mute//both teams got calls that could be cried about//bottom line the seahawks out played the packers and won//the packers laughed about their bear win and sacks well how does it feel
