Jay is beginning to look like Rex on the field now when he's "Bad Jay." He's not there yet. Maybe he never gets there. I'm hoping he gets on track against Dallas and keeps on track.

For those of you with short memories, "Good Rex" was a good QB. But over time, we didn't see so much of him anymore. Only "Bad Rex" showed up.

I hated that. I'm not so keen on "Bad Jay" now either.

Nor am I and I was mightily disappointed in his last game. His protection wasn't perfect but is was better and he plainly had an off day where he missed on passes he's usually connect on.

I think he does need to relax and go after what the other guys are giving him but he's not. He's still trying to take what he wants when he wants it. That's his biggest problem as far as QB'ing goes. That's where his lack of patience and maturity are most evident.

And after thinking about it, there is NO WAY Cutler will every be Rex Grossman. They really are very different players. I'm just letting my frustration show.
