What's frustrating me is that every year while training camp and the preseason are happening we hear such glowing reports about how well he's doing and how much he's improved as a WR that he's the best in camp and blah, blah, blah.

Then the season starts and he's almost ignored. I can't blame the guy for being a little frustrated and I can't blame him either if his games slips a bit because he's not being used much. We haven't seen hide nor hair of the vaunted "Hester Package" Tice sold us on and despite Cutler raving about him in camp once the season started he has eyes for no one else but Marshall.

Some of the defenses team have thrown against us are custom made for throwing quick slants against. Move Hester to the slot or even run those slants to him from his flanker spot. Think about it. With a LB blitzing and the FS playing over the top of Marshall the middle of the that field has to have a lot of open space in it yet we're not exploiting it.

What's frustrating me even more than the under use of Hester is Tice's whole approach to the offense so far. Based on what he talked about before the season began we should be seeing more scoring than we are. So far all Tice looks like to me is a big blowhard whose inexperience as an OC and play caller are beginning to show.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
