    Power Rankings

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2012/week/5

ESPN #9, for a 3-1 w/a good win, a bad loss and too eh wins(against bad teams) it seems about right.

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings

Fox, #7 I'll take it, but seems a bit high considering that GB owned us and they are 10.

    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/powerrankings

    CBS #9, see EPSN.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...g-jets-plummet

NFL #6, again suprise this high, but from NFL.com, I'll give it more weight.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/2012-we...0722--nfl.html

Yahoo #7, odd, say they cannot give them too much cred, but put them at 7?

    Average ranking 7.5.

Green Bay is soooo beatable, and they were beatable when we played them. We gave that game away IMHO. That's part of the reason why the loss felt so bad (at least to me). They were ripe for the picking that night.

I think one of the main reasons we are ahead of the Packers in PR is the way we beat the Cowboys and the fact they almost lost their game.

I disagree with anybody that thinks we beat ourselves when we played the packers, they played better than us and they forced Jay to turn the ballover too much. They played good enough to beat us that night.

This year the Packers look vulnerable IF we do the things we did at Dallas. Tice needs to call a decent game and not do the "Martz thing" again. Give Webb blocking help. Let Cutler settle down a bit so "Bad Jay" doesn't rear his ugly head. Have a better game plan (you don't have to live and die by the deep pass).

We did everything possible to lose that Packers game. I don't believe they look any more formidable than the Vikings right now (yes, seriously). If we play as stupid a game against the Vikings, as we did against the Pack, then we will lost to them too.

Yeah, no kiddin'. If Tice had done that stuff + using Forte/Bush more on 1st downs, frankly we would probably be 4-0 right now. Jennings was out and Rodgers wasn't sharp. I'd like to say I'm over it, but it still pisses me off.

Me and my friends worked on some rankings. Warning, they are Packers fans. Link.

End of First Quarter NFL Rankings

As promised, the brain-trust collaborated on a set of NFL power rankings. We put together a list of our own team rankings from 1 to 32 and then compiled them to achieve a composite ranking. It was a simple methodology with a simple formula. Pointless yes, but it gives me something to do. Hopefully you all agree with these.

    1. Texans
    2. Falcons
    3. 49ers
    4. Ravens
    5. Patriots
    6. Packers
    7. Bears
    8. Broncos
    9. Giants
    10. Cardinals
    11. Eagles
    12. Steelers
    13. Bengals
    14. Cowboys
    15. Vikings
    16. Chargers
    17. Redskins
    18. Lions
    19. Seahawks
    20. Rams
    21. Bills
    22. Panthers
    23. Saints
    24. Jets
    25. Dolphins
    26. Raiders
    27. Colts
    28. Chiefs
    29. Titans
    30. Buccaneers
    31. Jaguars
    32. Browns
