Not to be a stickler or anything but hasn't that guy won three Super Bowls? At the end of the day, fair or unfair, QBs are measured by virtue of their team's success. Winning is a great deodorant and Brady has won three Super Bowls. By extension, Brady's way on the sideline, in the huddle, in practice, in the media and, yes, chewing on his linemen/coaches is the way that has won three Super Bowls. For me, Bear fan can compare Cutler to Brady and Manning all day long but it is apples to oranges. Manning's way and Brady's way has won Super Bowl championships. Cutler's way has won a high school championship. Unless and until Cutler's way wins something significant, I think that Bear fan will have to listen to this stuff for a long while.

Take it from a Laker fan that listens to folks bash Kobe Bryant's leadership... Cutler HAS TO WIN before anyone gives him the benefit of the doubt. Or at least stop being so dour and appearing to not give a crap. But to say, "Brady does it! Manning does it!!" to try to justify Cutler's behavior is way off target in my eyes.

Even Jon Gruden saw that. Last night Jay showed great leadership. Glad something like that happened on national tv.

My guess is that those who argue (yeah, i'm looking at you, Ric, lol) he does poorly/quits under pressure would argue that he came back playing poorly (didn't watch the 2nd half, so I don't really know), but I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth. I see that he kept the game going, and went through the third worse beating of his career and kept himself together, because the Lions are a "comeback" team. He's def. showing he is standing up to adversity better than in the past, and this is yet another sign that the GB game sideline fiasco was simply overblown. Yeah, he didn't play well after that, but it seems like the Webb bump was just a red herring, plus we still coulda won in the second half; he in no way buried us in the first...
