I don't know about all of that. I do know that you are very adept at being a troll and that you are bad at concealing your true agenda. Why don't you ask the moderators to close this thread since it should have died a week or more ago, or are you so amused by what is going on in here that you simply want to continue playing on the passions of people who are mired in a puddle of shit?

Cutler has traits of botha great leader and of a poor leader. I'm not sure that i would use him as a good example of a great leader. Don't get me wrong -- I love the guy but he needs to be better at handling himself before I would think of him as a leader.

As far as leading by example, well, the guy is one of the best. He just bickles up his pants, goes to work on has a laser focus on winning. He gets pounded, doesn't complain, gets back up and focuses on the goal like nothing just happened. Can't say enough about that as far as leading by example and just shutting up, working and focusing on your goal. So much for the good part.

As far as the bad part, I like the way he went after Webb when he was screwing up, but he lost his cool and bumped him. Not good. A leader will push his guys, motivate them, maybe even break them down - but never disrespect them --- especially in public. That does not garner respect for the people you are supposed to be leading.

And when the chips are down and things are not going your way, it is the leader that is looked upon to bring people through that crisis. The person that stays calm, keeps focusing on the goal and pulls people through. Although Cutler can be and does stay laser focused on his goal mist of the time, when things don't go his way he can get frustrated, lose his cool and be a contributing factor in losing the game with bad decisions, interceptions, throwing people under the bus, etc.

None of those are either leadership traits nor are they respected by those you are leading or even those who are watching. He can't lose it when he gets frustrated. If he is frustrated, that means the game is probably not going well, and it is then that the team looks to him even more. To fail in those circumstances is a major fail as a leader.

Think about a leader in the military. Bullets are flying, people are going down, chaos all around. Is this the time that you want your leader to lose it, start making rash decisions and blaming everyone else? Nope. Even more people will lose thir lives and who will want to follow him again?

Cutler needs to keep his cool in those situations. If he can't then he can't lead. He can be a great QB, but won't be a great leader. You don't blame other publicly for failures - you do it in private. Even worse, you don't blame others when you are just as much, maybe even moreso at fault.

Another thing is the signal he sends to the team when the OC tries to talk to you after a bad series and you blow him off. Just basicaaly disrepect your OC in public on national TV and in front of your team. Becuase you are frustrated? Really? This is the team leader? You can't keep your cool enough to even respond to your OC when he is trying to help you? What signal do you send to the players there both about the respect that is to be given to coaches as well as the proper way a play can act?

Cutler does a lot right, but when it comes to leading does a lot wrong. I do not consider him to be a great leader. He is a very good QB, and one tough SOB, but for me, not a great leader. Hopefully, he is also a very smart person and understands his shortcomings and will fix them.
