Yeah, I totally get that. It makes sense in the context of the article. But the statement itself, out of the article, is a little simple. The secret to winning is to get ahead and stay ahead. whatever time it happens. Like the Arizona game where Denny let us off the hook.

This is what I was thinking. Reading that and wondering if the guy follows the Bears. There was and still is reason to believe that this is a potent offense. And not just because of one receiver.

Wanna know how front runner we are; Colin Cowherd, who is normally very hard on all things Chicago, has us winning the NFC; not NFCN, the NFC.
I know many don't like him; but he normally keeps his emotion out of his picks so I weight his opinion higher then most non chicago analysts/hosts.
