Bears CB Jennings earns Defense Player of Month honor
Tribune report 10:59 a.m. CDT, October 4, 2012
With a stat line topped by an NFL-best four interceptions, Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September on Thursday.
Jennings' statistics also include 18 tackles, one tackle for a loss and six pass break-ups, two of which resulted in interceptions by teammates.
This is Jennings’ first Player of the Month award. Bears defensive end Julius Peppers won the honor for November of 2011 and Devin Hester was named Special Teams Player of the Month in October of 2011.
JABF, why does DJ have to be the black bird? That's RACIST!!!
seriously, Jennings worked all offseason working on his hands, and it's reall showed. If only every player worked that hard on his game in the offseason.
