Tickets have been a tough sell for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that is not the case this week with the Chicago Bears coming to town.
The Jaguars announced Thursday morning that they will remove a tarp that typically covers section 403 in the upper deck of EverBank Field. Tickets in the section are available for $35.
Bears fans traveled in large numbers to Monday’s victory at Dallas with players and coach Lovie Smith remarking on the strong showing following the 34-18 victory.
“We travel well,” Smith said Monday night after the game. “There’s nothing like hearing the 'Let’s Go Bears,' chant early and throughout the game. I thought our fans were outstanding. The Chicago Bear colors were all around, they really were. I’m glad we are able to give our loyal fans that type of effort.”
Obviously, the Jaguars (1-3) are hoping their fans scoop up the extra tickets.
“We’re pleased with demand for tickets for this game and we’re thrilled to be able to make additional tickets available to our fans,” Jaguars president Mark Lamping said on the team’s Web site.
Tickets are available online at www.jaguars.com or through the team’s ticket office at 904-633-2000.
