That's awesome. When is the last time we've heard that? Might have to go back a decade or so.
It's amazing that we were able to add both B.Marsh and AJ, in Emery's first season here. Amazing.
Hmmm so many on this board told me I was crazy to think he would be able to get 700 yds or so. He's on pace to be just short, and I think he's going to get more and more involved as the weeks move on.
Kid is exactly what Cutler likes to throw to, big bodied go up and get it guys. I was worried during OTA's, and early in TC, but he finally got over the issues he had at OTA's and you could just see how good he was going to be this year.
Mean while(only calculating his first two games), Bennett is on pace for 500-600(again before he got hurt) or so; well short of the people that thought he'd get 1K. He's still the posession guy and he never was going to have 1k yards with Jeffery, Hester, Davis and Forte all getting looks.
Anyone still want Floyd in round 1?
Never really did, but I think it's unfair to judge a guy that has Kolb or Skelton throwing him the ball compared to a guy that has Cutler throwing him the ball; same w/Blackmon. It's hard to say that either of these guys wouldn't be doing what they are, or that Jeffery wouldn't be struggling if the roles hadn't been switched.
I loved the Jeffery pick b/c it melded well w/what the QB likes to throw to.
Why is it unfair to judge?

On the whole, Kolb is having a better year
well first and foremost b/c one is playing w/the backup qb, someone he didn't have a lot of reps with throughout TC and Preseaon like he would have w/the starter.
2nd man stop bumming me out, That comparission of JC to Kolb is disturbing. Kolb is getting mocked and might loose his job, and he's having a better year then JC...and that's w/out a run game to back him up, and just as bad of a OL.
Living here in AZ, I watch and go to a lot of Cards games. Kolb isn't Cutler talent-wise but he's a decent QB and Floyd has had plenty of botched chances already.
I'm not saying he won't be a good WR eventually but right now he can't a catch a cold and AJ >> Floyd.
