We have all the personnel pieces to win a Super Bowl. Now.
We're all used to whining about "if we just had better _______________, then we'd be a Super Bowl contender."
1. We now have one of the best defenses we've had in years.
2. We have one of the best special teams units in the NFL.
3. We have a high-powered offense. Even the oline is good enough now to win a Super Bowl.
4. We have the coaches now to win it all. OC, DC, ST's & HC.
The only thing that can stop us now is injuries. We have a few key players that are irreplaceable. Guys that if they go down to injury, we become a weaker team. Injuries happen every year, but let's face it, some years are more devastating than others.
Still, I feel like we have better depth at most positions than we've had in a long long time.

I'd say that the personnel is good enough for the most part but they still don't play 60 minutes of football at a level that says to me that they're ready to play and win a SB. Not yet.
It's easy to get on a little bit of a high after these last two games but the teams we beat are nowhere near championship level teams. We're kind of lucky to have a fairly easy schedule in this early part of the season and that's helping us to get better on both sides of the ball but we still didn't even beat GB let alone dominate them.
If I see the Bears playing solid winning football against Houston and GB and the Vikes or any team that's above a .500 football team I may start believing in the possibility of a SB appearance but until then I think we're still a year away.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I agree Soul, the schedule has been good to us this year. We caught the Colts and Rams at a great time (both teams will be stronger later this season). I do believe we have so many changes, and some new key players on offense (and Tice as OC) that it is reasonable for the team to have rough edges like we see. But we seem to be a team that is getting incrementally better week to week now.
