    4-0

Detroit: is hurt and scabbed up pretty bad and the way the defense is playing Stafford better have an ambulance on stand by

Carolina: Another set of kittens that havent grown any claws, they are weak on both sides of the ball, Newton was a fluke as i said he would be

Tennessee: I'm not sure what has happened to this franchise but its in desperate need, PERIOD!

Houston: Great team that almost frinkin' lost to the JETS, THE JETS for christ sake. THey are good but they have been drawn back to earth, its time to strike while the iron is hot

Houston is a team I didn't know much about and hadn't seen all that much. I heard they had a really good D, and a pretty good O with Andre Johnson and Arian Foster (and Schaub being an "up and coming" QB). Figured we would probably lose to them in November even at home.

But after watching them on Monday night, I'm pretty confident we can beat them. I was pretty unimpressed by what I saw in almost losing to a terrible team, with a crap QB, and all it's major star players injured.

Sanchez threw for almost 300 yards. Sanchez! With absolute crap for targets! With zero running game. With an OL in tatters. Take away one key tip by Watt and the Jets win. Take away two and the Jets win easily. Beyond a good DL, the Houston defense didn't exactly blow me away against a pathetic offense.

And on the offensive side, Schaub showed me nothing remotely special. Game manager quality only. Between his slow feet and Andre's lackadaisical effort, I see the Bears looking at sack and pick opportunities big time. Tillman will shut AJ down and Schaub will throw ints under pressure. I was really expecting Houston in a 31-6 blowout Monday night and, beyond Watt and Foster, their team was nothing special.

The obvious challenge is to contain Foster and Tate on the ground. If they rack up 200 yards then not much else matters. But if the Houston ground game can be held reasonably in check, that team looks very beatable in Soldier Field to me.

    Hey Just ,...
We’re one game into the second quarter there Sir

    jus saying bite accordingly

To Go 4-0 would be exceptional
    3-1 would be great
    2-2 would make me wonder

but I do see wins over the Titans and Kitties, Panthers are a given in the 3- 1 scenario ..
And Yes I do believe if the offense shows up for the whole game when the Texans come to town

the Bears will then go 9-1 on the season

This is a MAJOR loss for their "D". I compare it to the Bears loosing B.U. for the season. Their back-up can be exploited by our T.E.'s & W.R.'s along with our running game. By the time we play them our "O" should be on a roll and take care of business.

OMC, don't be so quick; last year this is the same team that lost Mario Williams, both starting and backup qb's, and at various points both Foster and Johnson. This team is deep and talented. While Cushing is a major loss, don't just assume that his backup can be exploited so easily by anyone.

While I agree that they are talented I see Cushing's loss worse than the Willians loss. They let Williams walk after the season and there was a obvious reason for that (see how he's doing in Buffalo) and his replacement is playing well as he was last year. I just don't see the depth at their LB position this season but again it's just MHO. I also am counting on our "O" getting their act together by the time we play them.
