It's a good year to stop and smell the roses. Enjoy this season.
I was thinking today about how fast these seasons are gone, and the dreaded off-season begins. Over the past 50 or so Bears seasons I've watched, it seems like we haven't had very many with the promise of this year's team.
It's a good year to savor every win, and not worry about stuff along the way. I don't want to be at the end of this season and realize I failed to enjoy one of the best seasons to be a Chicago Bears fan.

Here here. A lot of our bretheren will find a piece of shit in a pile of gold. Why not enjoy being a fan? It's much easier on your constitution.

At my age I try to enjoy all of them that I can. As a fan for over 50 seasons I have seen it all and believe me when I say that I have not seen a season with so much promise in ............... well ................. a LOT of years. Just finally having the play-makers we have this season is cause to rejoice. Realize that this is a team that is in somewhat of a transition with a new OC along with the rest of the additions. It may take a little more time for them to jell but when they do ............. LOOK OUT NFL !

Yup. And a timely reminder from JABF99. Offseason was a treasure, so many things going right. The year so far has been sweet. If you let your expectations run up to a Bear 1985, then you had better have been born after that, because that is once in a lifetime stuff. Although I wouldn't actually <i>object</i> to something like it again.

A side benefit to smelling the roses is that your concentrated in the moment. You don't look too far ahead and play in the moment. 
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
