Detroit worries me. They hate us more than any team on planet earth. They will bring their absolute best game to Soldier Field Monday night. They are a team that can score a lot of points in a short time - so we can't let up on them if we get a lead.
I believe the primary key to winning is to have Jay be solid right out of the gate (and Cutler needs to calm down and not try to do too much & consequently have "Bad Jay" come to this game). None of these 3-and-outs early in the game. Run the ball, and when we pass, stick to high-percentage passes early in the game, to boost Jay's confidence, so he can settle into a good rhythm. Long clock-consuming offensive drives, so our defense will be rested and able to play strong late in the game when Detroit likes to make a run.

Hey guys - new poster here. Go Bears! I don't know about all you guys but I'm nervous about the upcoming game against the Lions. After analyzing the two teams it looks like we have an advantage in defense (although Detroit's run D is playing well) and a slight edge at RB. The only thing that makes me nervous about the defense comparison is that our D has had the luck of the bounce most of the year and has taken advantage with defensive scores, I don't think we can continue the pace. Also, with the lions addition of LeShore I think the RB edge for us is very small to non-existent. I fear that if Stafford can show up for 4 quarters on Monday we could be facing a double digit loss.
