Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely keep them in mind going forward. This won't be quite as easy a task as the last series of games I wrote about since those were the actual NFL Championship Games and there are more pieces of information involved there. However, as a person with a degree in History, I should be up to the task, and I will probably be doing quite a bit of researching in order to find some of this stuff. Thankfully, I'm out of college, so I don't have any papers to write or exams or quizzes to study for.

You are both right (and wrong). The game he mentioned was from 2001. Brown got the pick six in OT to end the game. The next week the same thing happened against Cleveland.

But the 2006 Cardinals game was the most dramatic Bears game I can remember. Rex threw 4 picks and the Bears were down 20-0 at the half. Mike Brown had a fumble returned for a TD (and tore his ACL a little bit later). The Bears were down 23-10 with about five minutes left, then Charles Tillman had a fumble returned for a TD. Three minutes later, the Cardinals punted to Hester and he took it to the house. Bears win 24-23. Piece of crap Denny Green humiliates himself with a press conference tantrum. He is fired after the season and the Bears go to the Superbowl.

It may have been 2001, I do know that it was NOT the game that caused the (now famous) Green meltdown. thank you for the corrections.

PS. They say memory loss is the second sign of old age.

I don't remember the first one though....

I'm fairly certain those mike brown games were the 2001 13-3 season with miller at qb. I think some of those comeback wins were the best in the last decade or so. Also the 2006 win you are thinkin of is the cardinals win against the Denny green coached "THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!" Cardinals, probably the best win in recent bears history.

P.S. mike brown a sure hall of famer without the injuries?
