He did play pretty well on STeams though but overall not well enough to have spent a 3rd on him.
If he had been been an UFA we all would have loved him. You're right about the running between the tackles. It was utter madness.

Garrett Wolfe-Rasheed Davis flip a coin on that fail.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Rashied Davis was a UFA. We spent a draft pick on Wolfe that could have been spent on his teammate Doug Free.
I don't understand the hate for Rashied. He was a special teamer that got more time at WR than he ever should have because of guys like Bradley busting out. He was a great gunner for the Bears.

Really? Sure he was a good ST'er and then what? He got more push as a wr than a main event at a heavyweight boxing match. Sorry the dude sucked. He made Roy Williams look like Jerry Rice and that is saying something.
Do you wanna know what he did? He was able to single handedly retard the growth of the wr corps and that's with Drake "developing" dudes.
Bowman's a gunner and DB too maybe we should make him a WR and punch him down our throats as a WR week after flamin' week.
I give up.

I think part of the frustration for R.Davis stemmed from the fact we didn't have decent WR's and we were forced to use him at WR.
He came from the San Jose SaberCats (arena league). Jerry Angelo figured he'd signed a "find" for a song and a dance. If he had stayed on ST's, I think he would have been viewed in a better light. He was solid IMHO at ST's. But not so good as an NFL receiver.
He was another midget-sized player with stone hands. Jerry love midget players who were fast - but couldn't play football very well. He could always get 'em cheap, because no other teams wanted them.

JA was zeroing in on this gem, just prior to the Bears letting him go.
This one can't jump out of a swimming pool, but can lift people over head.
Who needs Brandon Marshall & Ashlon Jeffery, when you can get people like THIS?
And cheap too!!!
