    For as big of a jerk as he can be at times I still love the guy. He makes me laugh.

    You can't have been around the game for as long as he has and played and coached for NFL icons like Halas and Landry without having learned something about what it takes to play winning football in this league and he proved that both as a player and as a coach.

    Even after all these years he's still the persona who represents tough hard nosed man on man football. The guy who just wants to line up his eleven against yours and beat the crap out of one another until the best man wins.

    Happy Birthday to Mike Ditka and all of the other "Grabowskis" of the world.
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
