You have a Magic 8 Ball?! Is that your left one or your right one?

Too early to say as we are seven weeks in. As hopefully it will come that way as the weeks go by!

And you did ( a couple weeks ago ) and the words NO WAY floated to the top .
( always interesting to look at old threads imo )

1. We need to take care of business with the the weaker teams like the Lions, Panthers & Titans.
2. Stay healthy with our key players.
3. Beat some good teams. We have the Texans, 49'ers & Seattle coming up. If we are the best, then it should show against these teams.
This didn't happen

#1 did JABF. That is our bread and butter. We have another one of them coming up Sunday. And since we have gotten a little worse, The Lions win is close to 50-50.
If we beat them both and get into the finals, I hope that Lovie will not be able to say that he turned the team around and skate on that. We already know we can beat the weaker teams. That would just be two more of them. If we had somehow managed to play 3 or 4 more games against weaker opponents, our record would be looking good but the team would not be any better. Then people would have been amazed at how badly we would have done in the playoffs.
You have to look at the competition and how the team plays. For us, it's really not great football. We need to bite the bullet and fix it. I honestly do not want another year like this next year. I would rather be losing while new coaches and players got their legs under them while fielding a quality product. If you bring in the right people, it has been shown that turn arounds in the NFL don't have to take very long.

Ah I remember this thread.
First half of the season? Sure bears were the best.
Second half? Not so much
