Would you call it dirty it Peppers did it?
Would you call it dirty it Peppers did it?
It was clean...just one of many hits Jay takes because he holds the ball too long or won't throw it away...this was a rush up the middle Jay saw coming the whole way...Jay gambled and lost...I am just glad he wasn't knocked out of the game or the season...
.
I would be upset that we lost our QB, but would not have called it dirty. Every player and coach but Marshall said it was clean. Are they all idiots?
And in the off chance his neck got broken would make it dirty, was the Bears tackle on burrelson dirty that broke his leg?
I am sorry but I side with the great Bears defensive players and Cutler
Legal hit. Not necessary but what would you expect from the dirtiest player in the league. Jay needs to throw it away sometimes. Our injury-prone QB isn't going to make it past week ten if he can't play smart.
Suh stuck his leg out to Sweep/throw Cutler, and he used his forearm to drive Cutler's head into the ground. Thats not a clean NFL hit. Its a dirty.
As many people have noted, thats a Martial arts move. NOT an NFL tackle.
Ask yourself would the NFL with all the focus on injuries allowed dirty hits?
No.
No flags=Legal hit imo.
Just ban Suh from the NFL, I don't think anyone would have sacked Jay the way Suh did. Could the sack/hit injurie Cutler and end his season yes, but you can get injuried in every play.
It looked brutal.. but he did not break any "laws" so in my books it's a fair/clean hit... Nasty clean hit.
I'd like a word with those that claims Jay Cutler is a cry baby..
That is football i thought suh played a great game and respects jay by his attitude///suh should be a bear his talent is wasted on the lion team//give jay some indocin it will reduce the inflammation and help him heal
That was one of the best sacks I have seen. I great hit. Unfortunately it was against us and made my heart stop for a minute. If it had been done by Melton, I would done the table levitating trick.
I hate Suh, but on that one he did what a great lineman is supposed to do. Try and take the QB out of the game legally and without any permanent damage. It's football and that's just the way it is.
