I look for the defense to shut down both the Panthers and the Titans. Matthew Stafford is a better quarterback than both Cam Newton AND Matt Hasselbeck, and with the exception of the last two drives of the game, he was absolutely schooled by our defense. Carolina has lost its best offensive lineman in Ryan Kalil for the rest of the year to IR, so I look to see the Bears and in particular Julius Peppers and Henry Melton absolutely tee off on Newton. Newton will be dangerous as far as his ability to run out of the pocket, so we will have to design a scheme whereby we assign a man to mirror his every move. With that said, I think we can hold the Panthers to under two touchdowns and possibly even under 10 points.
My prediction: Bears 27, Panthers 9
On the Titans game, I think the Bears will put a fierce pass rush on Hasselbeck to the point where he'll be crying for his mama. He looked good against Buffalo this weekend, but then again, that was Buffalo, and the Bills aren't exactly the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, you can't count on CJ2K to be productive from game to game, and with the way our run defense has been, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets stuffed for little to no gain on a bunch of run plays. Hasselbeck will get sack a bunch of times, and our secondary will absolutely eat Tennessee's receivers alive since they don't have anyone who is really all that good unless I'm seriously mistaken. (Hey, I may live three hours east of Nashville, but that doesn't mean I know about their roster and the goings-on with the team other than I think Bud Adams made a lateral move when he forced Jeff Fisher to step down by hiring his former offensive line coach Mike Munchak.)
My prediction: Bears 38, Titans 7

I was flipping when I saw Peanut covering Megatron alone in the endzone. Boy, was I proven wrong. Did everyone catch the slow motion of the pass defended in the endzone? That was insane, and he made it look like nothing.

I like reading this over and over:
On MNF Calvin Johnson was held to a season-low three receptions for 34 yards, on a season-high 12 targets. Charles Tillman excelled.

Same here. It was the first thing I noticed. That breakup was all Tillman. He couldn't have played it any better.
The guy is pure technique. From his coverage to his tackling. He always wraps up, he always takes a shot at the ball (even after they've caught it) etc. He's an artist at what he does.
Do I think he will make the HOF? No. He's not a household name anywhere outside of Chicago

First, hello other Bears fans. I think people not knowing him is a media fault. The guy has had multiple pro-bowl caliber years in which he was snubbed by FAR inferior corners. Frankly, I find that the corners that people often know are the one's getting burned. Much like when offensive lineman are doing well they go unnoticed.

Find a HOF spot for him.

I like it much better than Gilligan's Island......except for Ginger and Mary Ann that is.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
