If we can't run the ball down the Panthers throats and role up 30 points then somebody needs to sit down with Tice and examine how he's going about it. Forte usually kills these guys and now we have Bush and Forte to carry the load. They could both have 100 yard games if we run right at them.
Just control the ball most of the game and stop the Panthers from killing us on the ground and force Newton to throw. He's handing out picks like my bank hands out Dum Dums. This is one game where the offense and the defense should both be at the top of their games by now.
Yeah, I won't be too upset if we don't have a Jag's type of blowout if:
1) the run game is established and effective (wasn't this Forte's only 200 yard game of his career, last year?)
2) we eat the clock like the pack eat ****
3) the d-line gets him flustered early; conversly, even if they do get some pressure on cutler, he cannot get out of his comfort zone here
4) a few sacks and no injuries
5) If we get into the redzone, and within the 5, we are able to score a few TDs. It's not important that EVERY TIME we score a TD, but if we end up with more FG's than TDs in the redzone, it's beyond "well Tice needs to figure this out/Cutler needs to audiblize better/Bates needs more say so". We're 5-1, we have 3 brilliant offensive minds working together, no reason we should fail in the end zone
With all that said, I expect us to easily make 30 on them (barring injuries) and see no reason we should let them very far into double digits. I know that may sound like an arrogant fan's viewpoint, but with the way the offense had started to click (I don't think we should count the second half of the detroit game that much) these past few games, and Cam Newton taking suggestions from the media on how they can play better (may have been a joke, but obviously a sign of desperation, not to mention Rivera's already on the hot seat)

And 4 sacks on Cutler in just over 1 quarter of play...so much for the improved OL.

Unfuckingbelievable
Today this team is a complete joke. We're making Carolina's defense look like the best in the league.

Wake up, Tice.

lol Ron Rivera is coming off as a genius...short kickoffs so Hester cant do anything, and the Panthers will take the crappy field position since their D is making us look like a joke anyway.

Jesus Christ. Carolina is leading by "only" 4 points and I really don't see how the Bears could win this one. Embarrassing from top to bottom.

I wouldnt say top to bottom...defense is holding its own, limiting them to FGs, and Forte is doing OK. Its just our offense overall that is playing like garbage, especially pass protection. 6 sacks and they arent even blitzing? Inexcusable.

I dont like to admit defeat early, but it seems the offense is doing that for us...
