It's a bad day to be Jay Cutler or a Bears fan
3rd Down Conversions
0/3 Bears
6/11 Panthers
Passing Yards
-15 Bears
174 Panthers
Time of Possession
10:12 Bears
19.48 Panthers
Offense
Webb, Rachel and Karimi cannot stop the Panthers rushers but are doing fairly well with the run game.
Spaeth is proving to be one of the worst TE in the NFL. He missed his block on our first offensive play resulting in a Cutler sack. He also missed a wide open catch that hit him in the hands.
Defense
Conte has continued to make mistakes throughout the first have that have created points for the Panthers. Today his awareness is at an all time low. A Panther WR did a streak, caught the pass and made his way into open field before Conte knew what the hell was going on. Then on a different play he lays an uber late hit on a WR after the pass was dropped giving the Panthers another first down. He is being outplayed and his frustration is showing.
Overall
No passing offense in a passing league equates to loses.
Chicago makes Carolina look like a Super Bowl caliber team.

BEAR DOWN cause the Bears are down!

We got out lucky today. At least the Vikqueens lost.

It is a good thing there are 60 minutes in this game because we needed every one of the to win.

Good Teams win games like this.I remember when we were REAL BAD in the Avellinni days when we were just like the Panthers and we always lost or the other Team found a way to win.

I want to see the Bears come out and put a whooping on the Titans. We cannot play like this in 2-3 weeks, the Texans and the 9ers will embarrass us if we play like that.

I posted it at half time so it was only a reflection of the first half. ![10 7 5[1]](/images/smilies/Alcohol/10_7_5[1].gif)
I wish I could have predicted the score though because I was hurling expletives until the fourth quarter and stressed throughout the entire game.

I'd like to add that Detroit didn't impress and the same goes for G.B.

I haven't had a chance to watch the game yet. Doesn't sound pretty though. We couldn't get pressure on their QB? We haven't had a problem doing that lately...
Sounds like we still have serious issues on the OL, and the passing "attack" is more like a passing "dirty stare".
No mention of the run game. Were we able to run the ball?

You may have chosen well, if you had to chose a win to not watch. Sadly, pretty much everything the original poster noted was solid truth. Cutler did look better at the end of the game but is was a tough 3/4 to watch. Davis, last week, made the case for playing time for Speath. This week, Spaeth returned the favor. Pass blocking was only poor, not awful. Run blocking was mostly poor. The most worrisome part was what the OP titled the thread. Cutler continued to look very meh even allowing he was very good late in the game. Earlier he was inaccurate and make bad decisions. sigh. Defense is lovely. Conte was bad on some plays but wow is that a good defense, ... having a mildly down game perhaps. Jennings is still trying to beat Tillman out for a pro bowl spot. <grin> luv 'em both.
