I was on the bandwagon until I got lost downtown and took the wrong subway ... now I'm a Red Sox fan.
So far as I know thats not even the same sport.
These fuckin subways can be confusing.

And you can only get on a bandwagon if you were not a fan of the team already.

LOL, that is a priceless post. We may end up fighting to keep our seats after a few more wins. Actually, that would be GREAT to see. The more up here the better!!!

JABF99 and others, I (truly) appreciate your unbridled optimism; fans like me deserve to take some shit...we are 6-1 and I should be happier and more excited than I am...but I am not...I want to believe, but I don't...this team frustrates the living piss out of me right now, even in victory...
Reductio ad absurdum...it's how we roll...

I try to stay optimistisk but it's hard when we play so horrible on offense in general against the more "easy" teams, if our offense doesn't man up soon I don't think our chances against the "better" teams are great. We're not going to beat the Packers without an offense, even with our great defense it's just not gonna happen. We need a offense and this is now they need to stop slacking..
I wish that Emery would go down in the loocker room and tell them to grap their balls and pull it togther because we can't always be as lucky as we were yesterday.
That being said if our O-line and offense just can play medicore we're going to beat the bloody Packers. We're 7 games into the season and we yet have to see our offense play 60 minuts of consistent football. When that happens the sun start shining over Chicago.

I have those same feelings, I do get pretty down about certain aspects of the team this season. But then I step back and try to put it into perspective. We are winning. We are pretty darned healthy so far this season (I believe that is a HUGE factor as the season progresses). And I keep telling myself it does take time for an offense to get it all together - with new key players, a new offensive coordinator, and a new playbook. I tell myself it's going to take time for all of this new offense to get running smoothly.
I can definitely see that the things that are going wrong right now - are fixable this season. We have enough overall talent in all 3 phases of the game (defense, offense, special teams) to be a very special team. It's now just a matter of getting all the rough edges smoothed out. We gotta stay healthy though (I about died when I saw Marshall dinged up yesterday and limping to the sideline).
If we can continue to win, while at the same time getting the kinks our of the new offense, then by the playoffs we'll be settled in for a POWERFUL run in the post-season. At that point, we should be hitting on all cylinders, and mighty tough to beat.
