Trade Deadline this Thursday

The trouble is any offensive player you bring in at this point no matter how cheap you can get him in trade will still have to learn the offense and won't be of much immediate help.

We're winning games and we're reasonably healthy so I'd be shocked if we found anyone who could help us much right now. Besides trading for a pass catching TE won't do much good if we never throw to him. We don't do it now so how will having another change that?

Alright f it I can play the teblow game bring in Tebow to be fb then move Rodriguez to te you know the position he played in college

In the real world there is no way I'd give up picks for Tebow. Let Adams or Eldridge play FB and move ERod to that move TE spot like we drafted him to play.

But if we're playing Madden I have the perfect offense designed just waiting for him.

You do what makes you comfortable and you do what you feel gives you the best chance to win. Kellen Davis and Matt Speath dont inspire confidence. Mike Tice isnt Mike Martz. He likes TEs. Used to be one and recently said he needs to get them more involved. 3 years ago Brady didnt throw anywhere near any many passes to TEs. Its all about trust and talent.

And im not sure how much of a factor a new TE would be mid-way through the season but maybe this guy becomes a factor 6 weeks down the line. He doesnt need to walk in and take the starting job. Get him now and he's a hell of alot closer to knowing the system than any FA TE signed months from now and more proven than any rookie.

Mike Tice has us all fooled. He's just waiting to unveil the mighty "Hester Package" that we've heard about for months now. The only reason he's waited THIS long to use it, is due to the fact he KNOWS it's so effective, that Roger Goodell will ban it due to the unfair advantage it will soon give the Chicago Bears.

I'm telling ya' we can all buy our Super Bowl tix now. Ole Yoda Tice is going to look brilliant....

I'm beginning to think there never was a "Hester Package" and it's all an urban legend. Maybe we did have one but Chuck Norris took it from Tice before the season started.

Trading season kicks off with lions trading for mike Thomas wr jags. Could have been a Knox replacement here but I see the non move as a whatever he isn't shit. Now look at the lions no running game so they trade for another wr really lol. Go for Steven Jackson or d Williams
