    I love the fact that our scoring is coming in a big way right now from our defense and not our offense. But you can't count on the defense scoring like this every game - not against "real" opponents who won't be shooting themselves in the foot like these powder-puff teams.

    The only real team we've faced so far is the Packers, and they schooled us.

    It's time for Tice to get his head out of his butt (Cutler too for that matter.....he needs to play well all game, and not just show up in the 4th quarter). Time to stop the stupid oline whiffs, false starts and missed blocks. Time for Cutler to learn some pocket-presence and not hand onto the ball so long, resulting in sacks and fumbles. Maybe learn that there's other WR's out there (open) too.

    Time for our offense to put on their "big boy pants" and begin to show up, like the defense has been doing each week.
    no game is a gimmie. You need to win every game first before you can be sure. I think our team will win agaist the Titans and we are 7-1 after this. Could end up 6-2 too. Nothing is for sure. Nothing is guaranteed in this sports.

    Offense alone means nothing if your D can't shut the other team down. Just look at the Saints and their offense. They should be a top contender with Brees and their offense. They aren't because of their D and this year Coaching.

    Just another thought:
    Our D scores instead of forcing the other team to punt. This gives our offense less time on the field to come together and get things rolling. Next problem as we have seen against the Panthers: If we don't win the ball via turnover, we can't force them to punt. It's a either or situation.

    You are right that Tice isn't the best OC and his play calling is questionable. What is wrong is that we have to worry. Marshall is on pace for a career year, Forte can do more than he shows and having a healthy and fit Bush will help us down the stretch. We win without the offense now, without them being wearing down. They have much football left this year before they need the rest.
    I would want to see them score more points, Cutler throwing more TDs and Forte/Bush having 20+ yard runs and be seen in highlights. In the end, I don't really care about this as long as they find a way to win games. If we win with our D scoring more than the O, I'm happy with it. If our D sucks and the O outscores the other team, I'm fine too. If we score via STs and win because of this it's good too. All that matters is this one special statline. Win - Lose.

    Our team has found a way to win 6 out of 7 games.

    IND has a winning record
    DET would have a winning record with a W against us
    STL would be tied with a 4-4 record
    DAL would have a winning record with a W against us

    JAX and CAR are just not good enough

    In other words, 3 out of our 6 opponents would be Winning teams if they would have beat us. 1 of them would be tied and not negative. We are part of the reason WHY they have a losing record.

    We need about 5 more Wins to make the POs.

    @TEN
    HOU
    @SF
    MIN
    SEA
    @MIN
    GB
    @ARI
    @DET

    does anybody really think we are not able to win 5 more games? I don't see a scenario in which we don't make the POs. Campbell is not Hanie. Bush is not Bell. Those were starters and are proven NFL players.
    We have some good WR depth. D is good and does not rely on 1 or 2 players alone. Have 4 good CBs, solid LB depth and the DL has some nice depth too.

    German, those are all great points.

    We need to stay healthy, and get into the playoffs - playing our best ball at that time of the year. I am soooooo hoping we see the offense clicking tomorrow.
    Trestman - Kromer - Tucker - DeCamillis

    I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.
