Mine wasn't, doesn't matter how many cool toys you have, or what qb you have, if you don't have an OL to open wholes for the RB, and one that can protect the qb the O will struggle.

I think some were were not looking at it that way, hoping that Tice would pull a gameplan that would limit the OL's exposure, but he hasn't.

Maybe Goodell has secretly outlawed the "Hester Package" as giving the Bears an unfair advantage. It was just too lethal.

It was probably something crazy, like Cutler shooting Hester out of a cannon....

Maybe a "player safety issue" too.

Best post ever, I lol'd my arse off!

As long a Tice thought that our O line could get the job done, we have been under unrealistic expectations.

If you keep TE or RB in to help block, you lose the use of these players on passing and running plays.

When your O line can't open lanes for the RBs the ground games doesn't get off the ground.

When your O line even with extra help can't block Defenders from getting to your QB, your passing game doesn't work and you QB gets sacked.

When you ask your QB to get rid of the ball when a Defender get close and that happens on almost every play you go no where.

When you have a QB that knows he can make the play if he only has a second or two more and then is willing to put his body on the line to make that play even if he does get sacked is he really doing anything wrong or is it what it is your QB is trying like hell to make the play.

When did it become wrong for our QB to do everything he can to keep us in the game until something good happens where its on Offense or Defense or even ST.

When did it become wrong for a QB to target another player because he knows the other player can make the play, even if that means over looking players who might be able to make a play.

When did it become wrong for a damn good QB to get an INT on play at least in his mind he knows he can make work and will or has made work.

Where is it written in any playbook that says in order to be a great QB you have to a personality.

Where is it written that ever point the Offense scores towards the win doen't count because the Defense scored or got the turnover.

I guess I missed this someplace along the line where is doesn't apply any more "On any given Sunday any team can beat any team in the NFL" so why is it we haven't played but one team that can beat us.

I guess a lot has changed since I played in the NFL, because back in my day any team that was 6-1 got respect from every other team and player in the NFL, as well as the media, but most of all from there fans.

Just to clear something up 6-1 is not a bad record 1-6 is.

Personally,I think most of the tools are in place,QB,WR's,RB,ST and Defense.
The future return of Jeffery will help, but in the meantime,Earl Bennett needs some more love.
So do Forte and Bush, the running game was fine, keep mixing it in.
I think there was way too much hype in the preseason/off season for this offensive unit.
There were still some lingering questions on the offensive line, few which have been answered.
With improved blocking from the line, this team can go far,but you live and die in the trenches.
All else considered,if you consistently lose that battle, you fall at the end.

    Why should we see Campbell?
As you make it sound... you would Bench Cutler

I wouldn't be stunned if we saw Campbell later in this game in mop-up duty.
