What's up with Carimi?
Too Jewish? C Williams was as good, perhaps better than him at RT.

I don't know but there are times when i want to fire someone on the offensive line//at least bench someone dang how can they watch the defensive effort and be so lackluster//guys start playing like you are pro's

He gets burned off the edge far too often. He is easily the best run blocker we have and strong as an ox against the inside and bull rush, but sadly, he MAY not have the foot speed to hang outside in the NFL. He has the tools to be a terrific OG, though, so there's that as a fallback if he doesn't pick shit up. I don't want to panic in what is essentially his rookie season, but you have to start the measuring stick somewhere and if he continues to struggle without progress, OT is back at the top of the draft/FA board. It's too early for speculation, but if we can land a LT, move Webb to RT and kick Carimi inside, even better.

Rodriguez and Spaeth struggled today too at blocking. Especially Rodriguez.

Right now, plain & simple, he stinks. I have to think his injury still has alot to do with it because he was better last year even though it was only a few games. It might be time to try Scott at RT because right now we have the worst set of OTs in the league IMHO. Webb may have improved a little but Carimi seems to get worse every week. He always seems to be on the ground. Sometimes he is so slow out of his stance that he makes opposing DEs look like they jumped offsides.

I think I read the injury report and Scott has a groin injury. Perhaps James Brown should get a look.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Perhaps? Let's hope he plays better next week. Watts for Houston is a freaking monster.

Both of our starting tackles are struggling. I keep hoping they can get better.
Also, Spaeth and Rodriguez are really bad blockers. Rodriguez is a rookie, and not very big (about 235 pounds) so he gets owned by linemen. Spaeth is a big man. He's a veteran. He should be a MUCH better blocker. He got owned today.

For his size I think he does ok as a blocker 99 but I would like to see him used more as a receiver. He would be a tough matchup for most LBs.
