Yeah, i mean, i've argued with you guys early on in the season about Cutler (unfortunately, you were right), but both of you kind of act as the "when i'm smiling, tell me some bad news, before i laugh and act like a fool"(sorry, behind blue eyes is stuck in my head lol). Idk, i only slightly differ with you guys now, cause i wanna celebrate such an amazing win, but then again, it is best to point out the flaws while they're on your mind.

Henry, I haven't stopped smiling since about the 2nd qtr, it was an awesome win. But you can enjoy the win, celebrate it love it and still say the team can be better. But I'm not here to be buddy buddy and rah rah, I'm here to talk football, and I know not everyone is going to like what I say or agree with me. If I was here for that, I'd leave all the neg's out.

Amen to that...God love him, but Jay is a complete dumb ass at times...a tough SOB dumb ass, but a dumb ass as none the less...that pointless, needless hit he took from Ayers earlier in the game about caused me to stroke out...zero reason to take the hit...I was so pissed...thank goodness he got up undamaged...

I think the phrase is "tempered optimism," that's what I'm going for usually. To me, wht they did well is obvious and requires little or no discussion. When you are winning its easy to overlook things.
Things are never as good as they seem when they are good and never as bad as they seem when they are bad.

most offenses need some time to get it going. Watched the GB game on TV while the other game was seen as stream on the PC. They needed some time to get together. Most teams need this.
when your D is that great and makes attention like we do, it puts big pressure on your offense. In the end, we have won while the O scored 4 TDs. I like some sentences about they only show up in the 3rd/4th quarter. Maybe it's just me, but a TD in the 4th is worth as much points as a TD in the 1st

We learned our offense, and Cutler in particular, still can't start fast and needs the D and ST to jump start. So here's how to begin the Houston game on Sunday.
We win the toss and elect to receive. After Hester's return, our Defense takes the field as our Offense. Urlacher throws an interception on purpose on 1st down to the D Back covering Tillman. Peanut strips the ball, and Briggs scoops it up and takes it the distance for 6.
Just like that we're up early, and now Jay can go to work on the next possession.

Well, first I LOVE the win.
But this is not a potent offense despite the score. We need better OL play and the game plan needs to use ALL our weapons. The O focuses only on Marshall. When he gets injured (and eventually he will - everyone does), we don't have an offense. We have Bennett, we have Forte (used but still under-used), Jeffrey (who was not used as much as he could have been before his injury).
Obviously we have a hell of a weapon in Marshall, but we need to spread it around more and keep the D guessing more than we are now. Marshall will be an even more potent threat if they don't expect us to go to him on every passing play.
The three issues I see on O are:
1) marginal OL play (Hope this can be addressed in the off-season)
2) too much focus, game planning and dependence on one player - Marshall (this WILL burn us at some point. This should be addressed by coaching. Either a sever beating by Lovie to Tice or a replacement of Tice. ---- However, I also believe that Cutler is at fault here also. He would call a pass play to Marschall every single play if he could)
3) QB play. I don't think that Cutler is playing to his abilities. I am not sure why. Happy feet due to the OL maybe. He is not playing as sharp as he was playing last year. He has better weapons this year, and they are playing well, but HIS part is not as good as it was last year. Decisions, timing, just don't seem as good. (Don't know what to do about this one. Hopefully the solution to #1 fixes this, otherwise the O won't be all that it can be)

what will you say when our D can't force the turnovers and in the end we win ugly because the offense could put up enough points during the game? It would be a ugly win again and we were lucky, right?

Cutler on his show on ESPN just said that the O was not happy w/how they played in the first half....HE IS SUCH A HATER!
