Well not to be-"labor" the point, LOL, but this really has a hell of a lot more to do with what Peanut and even more importantly his wife rate as how this should all go down than what Mr. Florio or the rest of us do. It's their decision and not ours.
Do I want him to play? Hell yes I do! Will we be hurting some of he doesn't? Hell yes to that to!
I'm gonna simply assume that all possible contingencies have been thought through and discussed including those of Lovie and his teammates. So we'll all just have to hang with it and see how it works out. I think those of us who are parents have all missed some work during the birth of one of our children. It's not exactly a rare occurrence no matter what your job is. I'm sure even corporate CEOs have done it as well as athletes in other sports so I don't see it as a precedent setting thing. It's his call.
It's not about doing a "C" section or inducing labor. I have four daughters and one was born without any outside help, one by induced labor, and two by "C" section so I don't see any of that as being unsafe generally speaking. But it ain't my child or my body that's delivering this baby so I don't get a vote and neither do the rest of us. The only two votes that count belong to Peanut and Mrs. Peanut.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

A Life gained, or a life lost? It's a 5 hour window thats in question. If it happens then he should play ( unless something isn't being said about RISKS ) Most players play, but what about player who play when a family member loses ( dies) life? Some have dedicated the game to said person, and had great games too, why not do that ? Delivery date / time can be managed nowadays too. I respect what he decides, for it is his choice, just make sure to take all things into account.

They are obviously not considering inducing labor so can we please stop using that as an option? If they were, I doubt there would even be a story here because they would schedule it for a time that was not interfering with the game time.
All options have been looked at and passed over for her giving birth when the baby is actually ready to come out, and not around the game time schedule.
I have no problem with Tillman putting the birth of his child ahead of a game. Those who think the game is more important need to get their priorities straight.

According to Peggy Kusinski, Tillman is NOT likely to miss Sun game, baby due late November & his wife is being induced on Monday!

As I mentioned, I really saw no reason to choose one over the other. Induce labor, be there and also be at the game.
Don't even know why this was a big deal decision.
