Well said and well written by the author. Whatever his reasons even Florio retracted his initial thoughts and tempered them. I think he makes another very good point in that article.

Whether they seek to or not the press tends to polarize our thoughts at times with this black or white approach. This entire thread is based largely on an opinion that once expressed was almost bound to create just that. Most of the articles about Cutler are calculated to do just about the same.

I just say "think for yourselves folks" don't let someone else do it for you. There all sorts of grays in life and we use them to govern our thinking everyday so sometimes it's hard for me to understand why when it comes to stuff like this there needs to be a right or a wrong. A middle ground as far as personal choices is still OK isn't it?

His own teammates and his head coach understand that far better than some of us did and they have a lot more on the line than we do.

Cutler, like I was saying, said he and his lady friend have decided to avoid this w/any future babies.

He said on ESPN radio this morning that they will not be trying for childeren when the birth would be around the NFL season.

Well I think that's good. He's made a personal choice as far as his life is concerned but it doesn't make it any more right or wrong than if he had decided differently. You gotta do what's right for you and not the rest of the world.
