You're right. Sorry about that. Hey, FWIW, I'm not trying to trash B.Marsh. He's a GREAT receiver. But he's always had problems with dropped passes.
Here is the 3-year drop rate for NFL receivers (last 3 years). B.Marsh is 10th worst in the NFL. Hester is at #15. (LINK)
Drop Rate – The Bad
Now let’s get to the important number. Players like Marshall and Welker may have more drops than anyone else, but Welker doesn’t figure in the Bottom 15 of the 61 players who had at least 125 catchable balls thrown their way over the past three years, and Marshall was just in the Bottom 10. Instead, the worst offender was Roy Williams who has dropped 14.62% of catchable balls over three years. That was narrowly worse than James Jones of the Packers, with the Buccaneers’ Mike Williams bringing in the third highest mark at 13.42%. 49ers fans (and Alex Smith) may want to look away when he sees the drop percentage of some of his receivers (new and old) as Crabtree, Mario Manningam and Randy Moss all rated poorly.
| Rank | Player | Current Team | Drops | Catchable | Drop Rate |
| 1 | Roy E. Williams | FA | 19 | 130 | 14.62% |
| 2 | James Jones | GB | 20 | 139 | 14.39% |
| 3 | Mike A. Williams | TB | 20 | 149 | 13.42% |
| 4 | DeSean Jackson | PHI | 25 | 193 | 12.95% |
| 5 | Brandon Gibson | SL | 18 | 141 | 12.77% |
| 6 | Terrell Owens | FA | 18 | 145 | 12.41% |
| 7 | Donald Driver | GB | 22 | 179 | 12.29% |
| 8 | Randy Moss | SF | 15 | 126 | 11.90% |
| 9 | Dwayne Bowe | KC | 26 | 225 | 11.56% |
| 10 | Brandon Marshall | CHI | 35 | 303 | 11.55% |
| 11 | Michael Crabtree | SF | 22 | 195 | 11.28% |
| 12 | Mario Manningham | SF | 19 | 174 | 10.92% |
| 13 | Pierre Garcon | WAS | 22 | 206 | 10.68% |
| 14 | Santana Moss | WAS | 24 | 233 | 10.30% |
| 15 | Devin Hester | CHI | 14 | 136 | 10.29% |

Marshall will have his hands full just getting loose from Joseph so doubling him is just frosting on the cake and ever with two guys on him Marshall has still made plays. He may not make as many but he won't get shut out.
It's a great time to use the backs and Bennett more and force them away from doubling Marshall. Run Davis on some seam routes and let them decide whether they want the Safety over the top of Marshall or would rather let Davis match up one on one with a LB or SS. These were mistakes we made in play calling against the Pack so let's see if Tice has learned anything.
This is gonna be a great test to see whether or not the offense has grown up some since that game. We haven't faced a defense that tough since.
Another Texans fan here.
I think you may be correct on the gamesmanship from Wade. Someone who watched the interview stated something along the line that Wade was smiling when he made that statement and I can see that. He's got a pretty dry sense of humor.
I think Marshall may be bracketed on a few plays but to double him all game isn't really Wade's style.
I guess we'll see Sunday night.
Here's what some of the posters on Texans Talk had to say about that statement.
Looking forward to what should be the best test for our respective teams thus far. I see it being a close, low scoring game that will probably be decided late and will be very close.

In case anyone is interested, Bennett has the best 3 year drop rate:
LINK
Drop Rate – The Best
To the best, and up at the top there’s a name that won’t surprise many Bears fans but may surprise many others. Earl Bennett, with just four drops from 127 catchable balls, has the lowest drop percentage of just 3.15%. That wasn’t much better than the ever-excellent Larry Fitzgerald who continues to show remarkable consistency with his hands, dropping an average of three balls each season and just 3.27% of catchable balls. Behind him are less-heralded players like Kevin Walter and Lance Moore, while San Diego fans will be happy to see Malcom Floyd with the fifth-lowest drop percentage, and new signing Robert Meachemdown in 11th.
| Rank | Player | Current Team | Drops | Catchable | Drop Rate |
| 1 | Earl Bennett | CHI | 4 | 127 | 3.15% |
| 2 | Larry Fitzgerald | ARZ | 9 | 275 | 3.27% |
| 3 | Kevin Walter | HST | 5 | 148 | 3.38% |
| 4 | Lance Moore | NO | 5 | 136 | 3.68% |
| 5 | Malcom Floyd | SD | 6 | 131 | 4.58% |
| 6 | Reggie Wayne | IND | 14 | 300 | 4.67% |
| 7 | Jabar Gaffney | NE | 10 | 197 | 5.08% |
| 8 | Jason Avant | PHI | 8 | 152 | 5.26% |
| 9 | Austin Collie | IND | 10 | 182 | 5.49% |
| 10 | Sidney Rice | SEA | 8 | 141 | 5.67% |
| 11 | Robert Meachem | SD | 8 | 137 | 5.84% |
| 12 | Michael Jenkins | MIN | 8 | 136 | 5.88% |
| 13 | Anquan Boldin | BLT | 13 | 219 | 5.94% |

Expect a pass rush shorter routes roll outs they can double all night even with all that jay can get the ball to his receivers.the bears could do it against the giants so it can be done.texas is a great team but so are the bears play smart may the best team win

I completely agree. Run the ball for the first few drives. Don't need to worry about the double team on B Marsh and don't have to worry about J.J. Watts killing Cutler as much

Well it doesn't but how they do it makes all the difference in the world. If he works him on quick slant and "go up and get it" stuff they could have three guys on him and unless one has a step ladder he'll still make some grabs.
In the Packer game he played outside at WR all game long and they had him bracketed along the sidelines. Since then they've been moving him around more to create other matchups and make it more difficult for teams to do that effectively.
He'll still get some catches but expecting 9 or them for 3 TDs is probably a little much this week.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

In fairness to Cutler, he does have the ability to be extremely accurate placing the ball where ONLY B.Marsh can get it. As Soul points out, on those plays, B.Marsh goes up to get it, and it's placed so the worst case it's just nobody catching it.
