It's supposed to be sprinkled, but it looks like sugar and Webb keeps eating it. It doesn't work that way. Tice has drawn him pictures to try to get to understand not to eat it, but so far Webb doesn't seem to understand.

Holy ****, these last two posts made me laugh. With all that's been said, it's really cool all Texan fans that have come here have been insightful and pretty cool about the whole thing. If they brag after a win, that's cool too, and it changes my view of almost getting jumped after the '08 game by drunken idiots (note:if you go to a football game on the road alone, KNOW where you're getting picked up at and walk/run to it, lol. My escape coulda been a funny bit on tv). Also, i agree completely with jackie, that we don't need the deep pass;get the ball to whoever is 5 or ao yards down, run w forte/allen/bell, rinse and repeat.

As the season has worn on, Cutler has actually targeted Marshall a little bit less and the others more, or at least that was the case through the Jacksonville game. I think there were some games where Cutler would target Marshall 15+ times, and now he's only doing so 10-12 times per game. I am like the rest of you, though, in that I hope Tice does a better job of "spreading the wealth," or in other words, tap into his inner Communist.

Surely with all of our TE's some of them should be able to block & catch a 5 yard pass.
Hell, maybe even some of them can run for 5 yards.
Otherwise what are they on the team for ? Dont answer that.
Look at our long forgotten OL.

JC will try and force some. He always does. The question is whether he will get away with it this time.

Marshall and Bennett are both very dependable receivers. It's Hester I'm always concerned with and they keep starting him over Bennett so I guess I'll just have to stay concerned. I guess one of the games he may actually do something that makes him a hero but pardon me if I don't hold my breath.
Bennett seldom drops a catchable ball and I'll cut Marshall some slack because he's always targeted a lot and he has to make some very tough grabs at times with guy hanging all over him. Sometimes a few of those will slip away but he makes far more big plays than not.
This game, and come to think of it most games, we need to be using Forte and Bush more as receivers than we have been. That's the biggest difference I see between Martz style and Tice's and it's also one of the biggest flaws in Tice's game plans. We don't throw enough to our backs.
Davis spent some extra time taking throws after that big drop against the Lions and it paid off in the next game. We have to throw to him so just do it. He can't catch a pass that's never thrown so throw to him and see what happens especially when we're within scoring range. The guy is a TD machine yet Tice seems to ignore that more often than not just like Martz often did.
Cutler won't get much time to throw on Sunday night so whatever Tice has dialed up it should happen quickly. Speed won't do much good it's gonna be dependent on the physical nature of our receivers out muscling guys to get open and make the grab. Tight windows and quick hard passes that are tough to defend.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I heard a few minutes of Bears talk on the radio this morning. Apparently, when Wade Phillips said they would double Marshall a lot, he had a smirk on his face. It's just gamesmanship.

It's possible, but I doubt it. Kareem Jackson will be on him and he has been excellent this season in coverage. Maybe the Texans most improved player since last year.

He's set up for it and it should happen, I agree. Gotta figure they're gonna be going all out to contain Marshall, but will we call plays for him and get him in there more than Hester as we should?
